"It's going to be fine." I smiled as I hugged Shinso. He was shaking slightly, but kept his face on 'bored'.
I knew he was nervous, but he had a plan so I was confident he had a chance.
He was waiting, within a moment he was going to have to fight someone.
The third round, ladies and gentlemen and whatever else, was one on one battle!
The people Shinso had brainwashed had asked to be replaced as they hadn't remembered anything. Shinso didn't really mind what they did, I was the only one really doing anything on our team anyway.

Shinso hugged me back, "He's got an insane quirk." He said softly, "he might be faster and just knock me out."

I sighed, "you're worrying to much, you'll win within a second," I stepped back, holding Shinso's hands into mine, "it'll be funny to see him just walk out of the line."

"I'll try my best." Shinso saw the time, "I'll go now."

I nodded, "Best of luck."

Seeing Shinso grin made me smile, "I'll see you in the final round." He tried to sound confident.

Hurrying to the seats I sat down next to my classmates.
"So..." Murasaki sat next to me and spoke up, "Did you guys kiss?" She asked.

I frowned, "no...?"

"Oh." Murasaki smiled a little, "you're blushing."

I wiped my face, "No I'm not." The only reason I could have for blushing would be that it's awkward.

We stopped our conversation as Mic introduced the fight.
I hoped Shinso would win, the green haired kid didn't have that much to lose anymore anyway. He already was in the hero course, I mean.

The battle began.
Shinso called out to the green haired kid, Midorya apparently. What he said was a mystery, but after a while Shinso got his quirk activated.
"Yes!" I cheered.

Murasaki cheered as wel as some other 1C people.
We looked as Midorya walked towards the edge.

We gasped as he was about to step out of the line, just then a loud sound went trough the air and dust flew up.
Midorya had his foot put down just within the line.
"No!" I saw he had deactivated Shinso's quirk.

Quickly Midorya rushed towards Shinso.
I looked as Shinso was pushed towards the line, he tried to fight back, but in the end he was pushed out of bounds.

Midnight told everyone Midorya had won.
Feeling dumbfounded I stared at the scene below.
Murasaki grabbed my hand and pulled me, together with some others to somewhere below where non-UA students sat.
Just when Shinso walked out we cheered at him, "even if you didn't make it all the way, you still got far!" Someone yelled.
"And listen!"

A hero told Shinso his quirk was amazing, wel suited for being a hero.
Another said that he want a quirk like that, it would make his days far easier.

I waved at Shinso, and he waved back, the smile on his face not faltering.

We watched the next matches. Shinso was sad about losing, but he told me I had to win now, for both me and him.
No pressure. (Loads of pressure)

Then it was my first match.
I had to battle a girl, plant quirk, from class 1B.
Anyway, I had a plan, it didn't require a quirk, which was useful for any scouts, I'm thinking like I'm already accepted in the course...

Mic introduced the match, telling the crowd I'm the bird who just swooped in and stole Midorya's points to then just sit around most of that round.
Shinso gave me a quick hug and then I walked out.
I was nervous, I mean, fighting wasn't my best talent. Fortunately Aizawa had shown me a few tricks, I was planning to use one of them. Then there was my brother who loved to show me what he learned at hero school, when we were younger.
Was I ready?
I don't know, this is my first time walking out on a battle shown live on TV watched by half of Japan.
But yeah, let's go.

Before we started the girl turned around and spoke up, asking Mic if he could change his wording.
I was rather confused of how it was relevant... but her priorities were hers alone.

Then we started. Immediately her plant like hair shot under ground. I turned into a bird and shot up, not knowing what she was planing exactly.

I was caught in a ball of vines, the green surrounded me and trapped me.
My eyes widened, was this how I lost?
I turned into a mouse, yet when I tried to squeeze trough, I was to big.
Hesitation filled me as I got an idea.
Then the world turned the biggest I've ever seen as I shrunk.

As a worm I squeezed trough the vines and got out. Falling trough the air I waited to catch momentum with the fall.

Gritting my teeth I turned into a wolf and pounced onto her, using the fall to hopefully knock her out. My paws hurt slightly as I waited for anything to happen.

I caught my breath as I waited, not getting off her or changing back.

Midnight asked her if she could move, which she didn't reply to.

When it was announced I had won I quickly got off of her and turned back, feeling amazed. I had won!
Midnight flashed me a smile as I returned to Shinso.

Meeting him halfway I immediately started rambling in excitement.
Shinso chuckled, "yeah, I saw." He smiled, slightly annoyed at my loud rambling.
I stopped to punch his shoulder and continued talking about what I had done.
