Whoa what-! Finals!?

11 1 1

When it was time to head back to school I only had a bit of bandages on my arm and small scars were left on my side.
As I entered the class Iida, who was the only one there yet, greeted me with a smile.
I had read the news, so I knew what had happened with the hero killer.
We talked about normal things, non of us feeling the need to discuss the internships.

Of course when there were more people they crowded around the three who had fought the hero killer. I honestly didn't want to be in the crowd so I just talked with Tokoyami, who still had a few questions about the internship and about Aizawa.

"So you lived with your brother, and he then asked Aizawa to live with you?" Tokoyami asked, "Why?"

"Oh, that's ehm—"

You useless whore! You can't do a fuck—

"No reason." I remembered the spot he hit me that one time.
It is safe to say that I felt slightly anxious for the next few classes.

The very next Basic Hero training we had to do a race. Everyone looked in surprise as Midorya didn't break any bones. I had definitely seen in the sports festival how he broke all of his fingers, then his arm and lastly his other arm, to then need surgery... was this child okay mentally?

The course was hard, it was different industrial stuff, like pipes you had to run along to eventually find All Might.
When it was my turn I didn't care to look who I was up against.
I simply took a breath and took off as a bird, using all of the tricks I had thought myself to gain some speed.
Using the new agility I had I avoided the hard spots and found the easiest way to get to All Might.

Finally I landed on the railing near the hero and looked at who else was there.
"Congrats, you've won! And I beter not be talking to a random bird!" All Might said, which was amusing.

The next thing I know, Aizawa became dramatic again. I mean, he was all like, it isn't over yet, blah blah blah.
In short, This terms finals were coming!

Oh no.

As in; oh no... I'm doomed.
You guessed it, I was doomed as I had not studied to much yet. I should have seen this coming.

Whoever failed the finals, whether it be the written or physical part, you couldn't participate in the coming camp. I wasn't much of a camp person, but there were loads of different reasons not to fail. Like Aizawa's deathly disappointed stare.

The class talked about it as I grabbed one of the books I had with me and started studying. I figured, why not use any moment I've got to study? I'm gonna need it...

Yoayorozu offered to help people study. I took a glance at the situation as I heard her talking about stuff she thought was normal. Normal for her, I mean, not everyone owns a 'great hall', if you know what I mean. She mentioned thee, now I wanted some thee.

After I got home I got a text, before Aizawa got home I got all the time with my phone I could wish for, so I didn't hesitate to check what the text was about.
'Want to study for finals?'

'I'm grounded, so you'll have to be gone by 5! :D' I texted back, a smile on my face as I finally got a chance to hang out with Shinso again!

We studied. That's kinda all there was to that, we took it seriously, so that was new.
I made some thee for us while we occasionally spoke up from the books to crack a small lame joke.

Then it was suddenly six o'clock. We sat in the living room, books and notebooks scattered around us.
"Oh shit, it's late." I commented as my eyes widened in realisation, "Aizawa will be home and he'll start scolding me any minute now." I started panicking despite knowing it was probably unnecessary.

Shinso chuckled, "You sound like he'll kill you."

I laughed without humor, very dryly I said, "That's exactly what I'm fearing."

A concerned look crossed Shinso's face, but before one of us could make a move, the door unlocked.

"I'm dead." I deadpanned before Aizawa walked in, Shinso looking at me in alarm.

"The month is over now." Aizawa commented as he had heard me, "Will you be eating here, Shinso?"
Now my eyes widened because of something else. The panic stopped and turned into complete shock as I tried to process the sentence.

"It's over." I whispered in relief before proceeding to think about the second part. Since when did Aizawa not hate the random friend I had?

Shinso cleared his throat, "I promised my mother I'd be home by seven." My confused gaze turned to him.

Aizawa nodded, as he pulled his white scarf from his head. "Alright, I'll be in my room if you guys need anything."
I now looked at him, still confused.

A quite moment passed before I grinned, "No way he actually was casual like that."

All Shinso did was giving me a shrug, "He's been helping me so I can get into the hero course."
Right... that must be why Aizawa was not hateful.

(A/n)

Not having to study is the worst isn't it.
Anyway, another chapter! Yay!

Have a great day/night,
