Training

Me and Shinso decided to train together, so we could help each other improve.
In the nearby park we held a contest, who could run the longest without getting tired?

Starting off, I felt like I could win. We circled the park, twice, then trice, then... a long while passed and Shinso wasn't getting tired.

Finally I stopped, feeling nauseous.
"I'm tired." I admitted while sitting down on the sidewalk. Some cars passed while Shinso walked back towards me.

"Finally you'll admit that." He plopped down next to me, trying to catch his breath as wel.

"Was it that obvious I was tired?" I asked confused. I was pretty sure I was putting up a good denial.

Laughing, Shinso nodded, "You looked like you would drop dead instantly."

"Thanks for the complement." I glared at him. Then I noticed a drop falling down on my head.
Looking up, dark clouds were gathering above us.

Sighing I got up and pointed to an apartment building still pretty far, "that's where I live, now, we could take shelter."

Shinso looked rather hesitant, "Wouldn't Erasure head be there?"

Smiling I helped him up, "you nervous?" I asked him teasingly.

"No, I mean, he's literally a teacher, I've met him before." Shinso was denying it.

"Suuuuure." I chuckled before another drop surprised me, this time on my nose.
I flinched and wiped it off, "We could just continue if you're more comfortable with that."

Shinso nodded and grabbed a bottle of water from his backpack, "first let's take a small brake."

We continued training. The weather worsened, but it didn't last long for the sun to start shining again.
All wet I crossed my arms, "you couldn't have come sooner?" I asked looking up at the sun.

Shinso rolled his eyes, smiling slightly, "you look stupid, talking to the sun."

"Wel... you look stupid—" I stopped myself, "what I wanted to say was to mean, sorry."

Frowning Shinso asked me to say it anyway, "I'm curious."

"Hi, curious." I tried to keep a straight face, stopping for a moment, "I'm Y/N."

Again Shinso rolled his eyes. I chuckled, glad to be able to annoy him on this strange day.

A few days later we studied at Shinso's home.
I sat at his diner table while he explained English. Why would they have a completely different letter all of a sudden!?
So frustrating, that language is.

All of a sudden his mom walked in the dining room.
Her purple hair matched Shinso's, I wondered how his dad must look.

"Oh, you must be Y/N." She said with a tired smile. The family Shinso was just sleep deprived, huh.

"Indeed I am." I shook her hand.

"You want to eat diner here? I'm going to make Pork cutlet bowl (or something)." She asked.

Looking at Shinso he didn't seem like he would mind, but I wasn't sure, "I don't know, my caretaker probably would hate me for getting home late."
