Maddie's P.O.V
I fall and fall, until I hit something hard, that feels like metal. My head spins from the impact, and I rub it with my bruised hand. My body feels like it was smashed by one of those spiky metal balls. I slowly sit up, and feel a rush of pain in my back.
"Ow." I grumble. I slowly get to my feet, and start to wobble, so I try to catch my balance. I almost tip over, and I stagger over to a metal wall-looking wall. I relax as I lean against it. Much better. But just as I do, the metal wall spins around, taking me with it. "Eek!" I squeal.
I glance around, and realize that I'm pratically in a new world. I gasp, as I see my surroundings. Slaves. There are slaves EVEYWHERE. I press my back cautiously against the wall, just in case it decided to turn again. It didn't, but that doesn't really my situation. Anyway though, the slave-looking people are in lines, and are marching towards an open door. If I can just wait until they're all gone, then I can slip inside the door before it closes. It sounds like a risky plan, but since I'm already lost, then I guess I have nothing to live for.
Soon, the slave-looking people march through the door. I mean, now they're starting to look more like military soldiers, but since they're expressionless, and are moving at the same time, it kind of looks like they're all under a spell, and don't have a choice about it. So I guess I can call them slaves.
Anyway, I realize this is my chance, and may be the only one. So I start towards the door, only to realize that I'm on a ledge rail that leads around the entire room towards the ceiling, and almost fall. Whoops.
I quickly regain my balance, and look around for a way off this ledge. I see at the other end there's a door, but that won't lead down, it'll keep me up. So I look for another way.
There is no other way.
So I decide to go to the door on the other side of the building, on the ledge. Well, let's say I have poor balancing skills, and almost fall like a hundred times, but I eventually make it to the door. I reach for the handle, praying on the inside that it won't be locked. It isn't, I start to open it with relief, only to realize that I have no idea what will be inside. So first, I brace myself. Then open it. But as I do, the lights go out, and I can't see anything.
Including what's in the door. And by now, the door is already wide open.I hear footsteps, like heels, and then the footsteps become heavy, like metal boots. Then they're soft, and soon, I can't hear them at all. Then cold, strong, arms wrap around my waist, and my eyes widen. A teenage male voice whispers,
"Eavesdropping, now aren't we?" I shudder, and gulp. I try to speak, but can't seem to find my voice. He lets out a low chuckle. "Wait till Master sees you." My whole body starts to tremble, and I wish that I could be smarter, cause I have no idea how to get out of this situation. Then the last part send chills down my spine.
"I think I'm gonna keep you. I've always wanted a human blood slave all to myself."
Dani's P.O.V
The room isn't ugly, in fact, it is kind of nice, I have to admit. The walls are painted a soft light blue, and in the middle of the white wooden tile, there's a fuzzy and white rug. The bed spread is pale yellow, light blue, and white, in a cool pattern. There's a white desk in the corner, with a computer and yellow lamp on it, and a white wooden chair to go with it. A light blue rocking chair with a white pillow sits in the corner, and there's two huge windows, covered by pale yellow curtains. There's quotes hung on the walls. There's a door to a closet, double doors to a balcony, and off to the side, a door to the bathroom. There's white nightstands on each side of the bed, as well.
I just stand there like a bump on the log, not sure if I should go inside or just stay out here. But it did look like a nice room, from where I'm standing.
