Chapter 7

Dani's P.O.V

 School went by normally, and I didn't see Harry all day. That was a good sign, right? I dash to my locker, and shove my books insdie of it. I grab my bag, and head for the door. But soemone calling my name, stops me. I trun around to see who it is, and see Maddie there. 

****! I forgot! Maddie walks home with me. I got so caught up in being happy that I didn't run into Harry, that I forgot about Maddie! She was gonna be even more suspisous now. ****.

"Heeey Maddie.....I was waiting for you....." I say, looking at the ground. She looks at me closly. 

"Really? Cause it looked like you were gonna leave without me." She says, still studying my face. I gulp, and look down. I feel a wave of guilt wash over me. I coudn't believe that all this drama started beacuse of Harry. 

You'll see why. You just don't know anything now.

Wow, thanks. I feel so loved.

You need to be patient, Dani. Patient.

Yeah, well how long is it gonna take, for me to find everything out? 

Hopefully not long. It would be a shame if you found out on your own.........

UGH! I was so confused, and I felt like a terrible friend at the same time. 

"Dani!" Maddie waves her hand in front of my face. "I was talking to you!! vWhy aren't you listening?" I quickly face my attention back to her. 

"Huh?" I say, then mentally smack my forehead. I wasn't making things better. 

Instead of wanting to change things so much, why don't you let them flow?

What?

I wish you understood......

Yeah, and I wish you spoke English!

The time will come.

Here's an idea! Instead of saying "the time will come," why don't you just tell me when the time is!!!!

You'll see.

I inwardly groaned. If that's even a thing. And word. I sigh. Then Maddie gives me an agrivated look. Uh oh. Had she sadi something while I was mentally arguing with the voice in my head? 

"Dani! I feel like you don't wanna be friends anymore!" She says, her angrey expression turning to hurt. 

"No! That's not it at all!" I quickly say.

 "Then explain your behavier lately!!" She says, annoyed. 

"I've just had a lot on my mind latley....." I trail off. I still don't want to mention Harry or Tori to her. 

"Like....?" Oh great. Now I was gonna have to lie. 

"Like work, school, homework......" I'm not very good at this. She rolls her eyes. 

"That's so you, Dani." I was relieved. She sighs. "Well, I understand. You don't have time for me......" Maddie is a such a drama queen at times, just wanna let you know. 

"Maddie, I have time for you. It's just I'm really busy latley, ok?" I say, trying not sound annoyed, or mean. She sighs, again. 

"Well........"

"Do you forgive me?"

"Hmm........if you hang out with me more, like we used to in New York, then yes. You're forgiven."
