Chapter 36

Dani's P.O.V.

As we're walking to Grace's layer, I can't help but think, why didn't we just kill her when we joined Rebels? I mean, seriously. What was the point in waiting?

The good thing is, though, that we are ready now, and are on our way to her layer. I hate that fact that I want her to suffer. It's really bad...

"You ok?" Harry asks me.

"Yeah." I say, but I'm looking at the ground as we walk. I just have to wonder, when will it be time for him to mark me?

"Babe, don't think about that." Harry says. I sigh. He read my mind. I really wish that no one would do that so I can have some privacy. I guess they just can't help it though.

"We really can't." Harry says with a sigh.

"So how are we gonna kill her again?" I quickly change the subject. I don't want to talk about what's gonna happen to me during the marking stage. That's at least where I could see that conversation heading...

"We're gonna stake her and throw her ashes in a fire to burn and rot." Harry says cheerfully. I smile.

"That sounds good." Harry laughs.

"I've created a monster." He jokes. I laugh too, until I remember my nightmare.

Don't you wanna be a monster, like me?

Then another thing hit me. Dave never told me how he could speak to me in my mind. I mean, Tori was a witch, so that's how she can do it. But Dave? I know he's a vampire, but a witch? I'm not sure. I guess I can ask him later.

"Ok rebels, here it is." Elizabeth says, pointing to a white house. "Her home."

"If we break in, we can rig her key whole and break into her underground layer. Sound good?" Dave says, and we all nod. Harry takes one hand, and Maddie takes my other. I notice she's also holding Louis' hand, and I can't help but smile, despite what's gonna happen next.

Elizabeth uses her magic to unlock the door, and we all step inside. Her house is pretty neat, but that's not important. The only important thing here is getting rid of her.

"Are we ready?" Elizabeth asks us. We all nod. We head into her library and press our backs against the book shelf. It moves, and we slip down the dark staircase. Soon, we're at a door. Elizabeth uses a spell to rig the door, a new one she said she came up with a little while ago, that really works. The door opens, and we burst inside.

The main colors of the room are white, pink, and silver. Grace is leaning over a crystal ball, and when we burst inside, she gasps and rises to her feet. She has pale skin, and long wavy blonde hair. She has bright blue eyes, and a silver and white dress on. She is pretty, but wicked.

"How did you get in here!" She cries.

"A little magic did the trick." Elizabeth says with a smirk. Grace points at her.

"YOU!" She points to me. "AND YOU!" I gulp and hide behind Harry. So much for being strong.

"Us." Elizabeth says with a roll of her eyes.

"LEAVE NOW!"

"Ok bye." Elizabeth says sarcastically. She turns to us. "Who does she think I am?"

"I said leave!"

"We will. Once we do what we came here for." Elizabeth turns to us, and nods. It's the nod that is supposed to give us, to let us know to attack.

And that's exactly what we do.

We charge at her, and although she is a witch and has magic, she is no match for two withes, seven vampires, and two annoyed and feisty humans. She lets out a blood curdling scream, as Elizabeth stakes her. Harry uses his magic to start a fire, and we throw her body in it, watching her burn and rot.

I love it.

Soon, a boy came down the stairs that I didn't know, and said to Dave,

"Dad, coast is clear, no police. We can go now." Maddie gasps.

"YOU! ZACH!" He smirks.

"Me!" He rushes over to Maddie, but Louis shoves her behind him and growls at him.

"Stay away from her." Louis snaps. Zach rolls his eyes.

"Whatever." Dave sighs.

"Enough Zach. Now let's go." We all follow Dave out, and then go our separate ways home. But before me do, Elizabeth pulls me aside and says,

"Thank you for your help Dani. And tell your family that too. We are very proud of you guys. You chose the right side. Destiny is ours now." She smiles, and I smile back.

"Of course." I say, and off we go.

I sigh. I guess everything will turn out ok now. At least I hope. I'm in my room on my bed, trying to get some sleep. Harry opens the door and comes in and joins me under the covers. He's shirtless and is in his boxers. I smile, and snuggle up agaisnt him.

"Good job today." He whispers in my ear.

"Thanks you too." I say back.

"Thanks love. Now try to get some sleep. Life should be better from now on." I smile and close my eyes.

"Of course." I whisper. And then sleep overtakes me.

A.N. YOOO EPILOGUE NEXT!! DESTINY WILL COME AFTER I RIGHT ANOTHER BOOK SO JUST REMEMBER THAT!!
