Chapter 11

Dani's P.O.V

"Tori???!!!!" I say, taken back by this huge surprise.

"Hiii........Dani...........what are you doing here......??" She says kind of awkwardly. I stare at her, angrily.

"Oh, I'm sure you know!" I snap. Did she follow me to the library, too? How long had she been doing this? Since we met???

"Um......actually I don't.....and....um.....if you knew the real reason why I did this, you'd actually be thankful."

"Thankful????!!! You want me to be thankful that you're spying on me???!!! Are you crazy??!!! And what is the real reason??"

"I can't tell you now......but.......what I can say is.....that.....you need to forgive me."

"Forgive you?? Sure, lemme forgive you for spying on me!!! Again, bringing the fact that you spyed on me back to the conversation. And why can't I know? Why is everyone keeping secrets from me??!!!"

"Because, Dani. You can't know now. But trust me, soon you will. I just need you to forgive me, and stop getting mad. Because I need to do this. I'm only doing this because I care about you. You're my friend."

"Why does everyone keep saying that 'soon I'll know???' Why?? Why is everyone saying the same thing??? Why does everyone know but me???!!"  I was starting to get madder than before. I was sick of hearing this bull. I wanted answers!!!

"Look, I can't tell you now. But, like I sa-" I cut her off.

"'Soon I'll find out',  right? Is that what you're gonna say? Cause if so, I don't wanna hear it. I've had enough." I turn around and start to storm out of the park. I can hear her calling to me.

"You don't understand! I'm sorry! You'll know, I promise!! Just trust me!!! Lemme do my job!!! He's dangerous!!!" Who? Who was dangerous? I guess I'd find out soon.

Or now........

I spin around.

"Who's dangerous???" I call back to her. "And if you say "I can't tell you," I'll murder you!!"

"You won't believe me." She says, looking down. Almost.....ashamed?

"Of course I will, Tori. Just tell me." I say, getting impatient. I didn't have all day.

"Ok...well.....I'm just gonna say it. Harry."

Say what??!!!

"No he's not! He's just an annoying boy who can't mind his own business!"

She is right, Dani. You're wrong.

I am not wrong!! I am never wrong!!

Of course you are! You're always wrong, Dani. Because you don't know as much as I do.

Oh, ok. So tell me. What do you know? Or, can I "not know?"

For once! You're right. You can't know. Now pay attention to Tori, hm?

"Look. He is more than just a boy, Dani. I wish you knew. I really do."

"Then why don't you just tell me!!"

"I have my reasons not to, ok?"

"Yeah, whatever. But I swear I'll prove you wrong. Harry may be different, but he's not  dangerous."
