He heard the familiar rumbling of Paul's motorcycle while he was fixing his small pouch. That was the signal for him to leave the house carrying his own helmet.

He heard Paul greet his mother.

'Oh why are you dressed like that, you look like a boy in what you're wearing,' his father pointedly said.

'Nevin's clothes are fine, Sir,' said Paul. 'He looks very sexy in his get up' he added. 'Are you ready? Let's go!'

Nevin just nodded

'We'll go ahead, Pa' Nevin informed his father.

'You smell good Nevin,' Paul said as he started his motorcycle. 'Hold my waist tightly.' Paul reminded him before he started the motor.

'My brother's gift for my last birthday, Channel No. 5,' Nevin said. 'Thank heavens for big brothers!'

The bar that he and Paul went to was in the center of the city. They got there easily because there was no traffic and Paul took a turn between other cars. Even though Paul drives his motorcycle fast, he is a careful driver. The carpark was full and Paul decided to park on the other side of the road. He waited outside the bar. His friends was already inside, they cheered them on as soon as they sat down at their table.

'We haven't seen each other in a while' a girl greeted Nevin there. 'Did you break up with Drew?'

Nevin couldn't answer immediately because Paul asked him what his drinks were. He doesn't like to drink hard alcohol drinks. ALL NIGHT he only had one dry martini as his limit.

'What's up, Nevin?' a friend of Paul's woke him up. 'You're so quiet today!'

'It's a case of an immovable object meeting an irresistible force,' Paul joked.

Everyone at the table laughed and one of them commented,

'I have to meet that immovable object.' Nevin didn't take the temptation around the table anymore.

A movement by the door caught his eye and he heard Paul whisper to it.

'I think you've got your wish granted now. Unless I'm wrong our immovable object is here.' He stood up and gave Nevin his glass. 'Hang on to this, lovely. Our boss is here, I'll just go and invite him to our table to thrill the girls.'

Paul winked and before Nevin could catch him, he was gone. The bar is getting more crowded and when Paul returns, Zion Palmer follows him and the only empty seat is the stool next to Nevin.

Nevin just nodded at Zion as he greeted them all. If only he had known that they would meet here, he would not have gone with Paul. He was wearing close-fitting dark trousers and an open-necked shirt. His pants molded the narrow outline of his hips, emphasizing the muscled tautness of his thighs. Nevin averted his gaze, he couldn't believe that he was so affected by Zion's presence by his side. He sat next to him and didn't care about him anymore. When Paul called his name he looked up, thinking he was going, to ask him if he wanted another drink.

'Bob and Jean have arrived,' he told Nevin. 'So you sit in my lap right here so they can sit down'

The other girls were also hugging their boyfriends and he also didn't want his situation to be awkward, he stood up and was about to go to Paul, but Zion grabbed his wrist. 'Here. Sit in my lap Nevin,' Zion told him. 'I don't want to pay if  you broke glasses.'

Everyone at the table laughed again. He looked at Paul and ask to help him but he was busy looking at a woman on the other side of the bar.

'Give in gracefully,' Zion murmured against Nevin's ear. 'Paul won't help you.'
