I shake my head, trying to dismiss the thought. I start to feel a little drowsy. So I turn my body to lay on my side. I close my eyes, letting myself drift off to sleep.

-Just Another Cadet-

Y/N P.O.V

I'm all better today, so I can resume my training. Which is why I'm currently jogging around the training area. I need to build up my stamina after being bed-ridden for a few days because of my sickness. I don't want to be the reason everyone get held back during our expedition.

"I see you're back on your feet, Y/N" someone said. I turn my head to see it's Eren. I just give him a curt nod and a small smile. He stares at me with a frown on his face as he breathes heavily, struggling to keep up with me. "You had everyone so worried when you suddenly collapsed..." he said.

"I did?" I said. He nods his head. I hum softly and nod my head. "Sorry... I didn't mean to worry anyone. I just have a lot going on inside my head. I guess it cause me to have lack of sleep, resulting in my sickness" I said. He smiles and gently reaches over to give my shoulder a gentle pat. I flinch at his gesture and jumps away.

"Eh... sorry. I forgot that you're not comfortable being close to people" he said. I slow down, until I eventually stops running. Eren follows in suit. He drops on his knees while breathing heavily.

I stare at him worriedly. I lean down to be on the same eye-level as him. "Are you okay, Eren?" I asked. He give me a thumbs up, as he still tries to regain control of his breathing. I sit down in front of him, waiting for him to regain his composure.

"Ah... not only you have a good speed... your endurance in psychical strength is also incomparable. I find it hard to believe that you were sick" he said. I blink my eyes at his comment and just shrugs my shoulders.

"Perks of being outside the walls for years, I guess... I have to stay alert all the time in case one of those titans attack me..." I said. He hums and nods his head, agreeing with me.

"The corporals never really told anyone about you to us. But since you're out comrade. It wouldn't hurt to share, right?" He said. I tilt my head, staring at him in confusion as I wondered what he's trying to say. "So... what's your story?" He said. I look away from him. I should've expect it. People would be curious about me and my past.

"I don't want to talk about it..." I muttered. I turn to look at Eren to see him looking slightly disappointed. "But I can say that all you need is diligent training... I'm sure you can have endurance as good as me. Maybe better if you put your mind into it..." I said.

His eyes lit up as he leans forward with his hands on the ground. "Teach me!" He said, eagerly. I back away a little as I try to keep my distance from him. "I want you to be my coach, Y/N!" He added.

"We have Captain Levi that will teach us how to build up our endurance... and uh... back away please. You're too close" I said. He realize what he's doing and backs away from me. He let out a sigh, and looks away from me.

"I know we have Captain Levi to train us. But he's just SO harsh... and I think that he hates everyone" he said. I roll my eyes at what he said. After seeing my reaction, he starts to act defensive. "What?? It's true! He acted like he hates all of us! He's only ever acted gentle around you!" He said, pointing his finger at me.

"I think that's just your imagination... I mean, why would he only acted gentle towards me? I'm no one special..." I said. Eren lowers his hand as he ponders about what I just said. I stand up and stretch my body. Eren quickly follows along.

"I'm not imagining it. Captain Levi does act kind and soft around you..." he said. I roll my eyes at what he said as I turn my body to the side, stretching it. Eren stretches his arms above his head. "You know... I think he likes you" he said.

I stumble at what he said out of shock. I manage to stay balance before I fall over. I clear my throat, while placing my hands on my hips as I try to ease my flustered self. I give Eren a stern gaze.

"Don't be ridiculous. I'm just another cadet to him..." I said, scoffing. Eren huffed at what I said. He finally drop the subject. "Well, I'm going to take a short break before resuming my training. See ya~" I said. I turn around and walks away.

I ended up near a lake. I take a seat under the tree. I place my hands behind my head as I stare up at the sunlight that seeps through the gap of the leaves. I take a deep breath as I let my body relaxes with the soothing sensation of the wind.

I hear footsteps and turns my head to see Levi. He walks towards me and take a seat next to me. I quickly move to sit a little straighter to be proper around him. Since after all, Levi is still in a higher position than me.

"You're on a break?" He asked. I nod my head at what he said. He hums at my response. "You should take it easy. After all, you just got better" He said.

"I will... don't worry" I said. He lift his hand and gently flick my forehead. I flinched at his action. "Ow... what's that for?!" I protested, while rubbing my forehead. Even though he did it gently, it still stings.

"I'll always worry when it comes to you..." he said. My eyes widened at what he said. I turn my head away from him, trying to hide the blush on my cheeks. I feel a hand gently holding mine. I turn my head to see it's Levi's. I turn my head to look at him, only to see his face close to mine.

"And just so you know, Y/N..." he started. He lift his hand and gently tucking my hair behind my ear. I just stare at him, waiting for him to say what he wants to say. "You're not 'just another cadet' to me..." he said, in a soft voice. My eyes widened at what he said.

He slowly leans in. I shut my eyes tightly on reflect. I feel something soft pressing against my lips. I peak a little to see Levi's face close with mine. I can't believe it... Levi is kissing me?!
