I close my eyes again to see through my shadow's eyes. There's still no titans anywhere. I bit my lips as I open my eyes. This quietness is really strange... it doesn't exactly give me a good vibe.
Something's not right...

Y/N P.O.V
I send my shadow to scout the area again. After using my power for a few times, I'm starting to feel exhausted. Levi must have notice it as my grip around his torso starting to get looser.
"Don't push it, Y/N..." he said, turning to look at me over his shoulder. I give him a soft smile, trying to assure him that I'm fine. I close my eyes, so I can see through the sight of my shadow's.
"Something's coming! From our west side!" I said, noticing movement not far from where my shadow is flying. I focus on trying to make out what it is.

"What is that... it looks like muscles... and female?" I said. I hear a gasp coming from Levi. I open my eyes to look at him. His shoulders are tensed after I said that.
"It's the female titan! Everyone brace yourself!" He said. I stare at him in confusion. He turns to look at me over his shoulder. "Hold on tight, Y/N. This one is different from all the other titans you've faced. We can't afford to make any mistake" he said. I just tighten my arms around him as he speeds up.
I notice that instead of towards the direction I told him, he rushes towards another direction. I realize he is actually urging everyone to try and escape. Is the female titan that bad?
I hear loud footsteps and turns around slightly to see the female titan. "It's here!!" I yelled out. Levi quickly urges the horse to run faster. Everyone looks scared as the titan runs towards us at full speed.
I don't blame them for being scared. They aren't like me... once they died, they won't come back like I do. I have to do something about the female titan. I jump to a squatting position behind Levi.
I was about to summon my black shadow, but Levi grabs my hand. I turn my head to see he's holding the reign with one hand and still facing forward. "Don't be reckless, Y/N. I know you can't die but that doesn't mean you have to keep wasting your lives! Even if you have unlimited of it" he said.
"If it means I can keep you all alive... I will waste it as many times as I need..." I said. I yank my hand out of his grip. I summon my black shadow. My shadow holds me firmly on my shoulders. We fly towards the direction of the female titan. I pull out my dual swords and start to fight the female titan. It try to swat me, but I control my shadow to move out of the way swiftly.
I start to feel tired, having not enough rest after using my shadow for multiple times. As I lose focus, my shadow gets distracted. The female titan took it as a chance to swat me towards a near building. I let out a pained cry as I collide against the wall. My body starts falling towards the ground. I close my eyes, bracing myself for an impact. But nothing came.
I open my eyes and gasp when I realize I'm laying on a hand. I turn my head to see another titan. But it doesn't show any hostility towards me. I stare into his eyes and feel a sense of familiarity.
"Eren..." I said. I didn't know Eren is a Titan shifter. He gently lowered me down on the ground, and went to fight against the female titan. I can't move as I only lay down on my stomach, since I had broke my back.
"Y/N! Are you okay??" Someone said. I turn my head to see Levi landing next to me. He rushes over to me and kneels down. "Your back is broken..." he said, placing a hand on my back which makes me flinched.
"I can get it fix..." I said. I take out a knife. I place it on my neck. Just as I'm about to slit my throat, a hand grabs mine. I turn my head to see Levi holding onto my hand.
"Don't..." he said. He stares at me worriedly. I blink my eyes at him. "We'll treat your back, Y/N. You don't have to do it this way. What if... what if you won't wake up?" He said.
I lift my free hand on top of his. "I will be fine... trust me. This is the fastest way" I said. I gently remove his hand from mine. I slit my throat and collapse on the ground. I close my eyes and everything went dark.
A few seconds later, I slowly open my eyes. I turn to look at Levi who just stares at me. I can't read the expression he's making. It looks like mixture between emotions. I move to sit up and smiles softly at him.
"See?" I said. He didn't say anything and just pulls me into a tight hug. I blink my eyes in surprise at his action. I feel his body shaking as he held me close. My eyes soften and return his embrace. I wrap my arms around him. "I'm fine, Levi..." I said.
"Don't do that again..." he whispered in a hushed voice. I just run my hand through his hair. He buries his face in the crook of my neck.
I hear a loud sound and turn my head. Eren is still fighting against the female titan in his titan form. The female titan kicks him, making him fall over. My eyes widened as the female titan hovers above him.
"We have to help!" I said, moving to stand up. I'm about to summon my black shadow again. But a hand stops me. I turn my head to see Levi. He shakes his head at me.
"No... not again. That's enough on your side" he said. I frown at what he said. I open my mouth to retaliate, but he covers my mouth. "No buts. I'm your captain and you listen to me. Ral and Alert, both of you make sure Y/N didn't do anything rash" he said, sternly.
I let out a sigh as the two people he instructed to watch me went to stand on either side of me. Levi gives me a stern gaze as if telling me to stay put. I raise my hands in surrender. He nods and turn around, jumping forward to join the fight with Eren. I huffed and crossed my arms, rolling my eyes. Tch... bossy, much?
