Chapter 15

I let out a sigh as the two people he instructed to watch me went to stand on either side of me. Levi gives me a stern gaze as if telling me to stay put. I raise my hands in surrender. He nods and turn around, jumping forward to join the fight with Eren. I huffed and crossed my arms, rolling my eyes. Tch... bossy, much?

Y/N P.O.V

Both Levi and Eren struggled to fight against the female titans. It's clear in our eyes that they are slowly losing. I can't just stand back and do nothing. These people can die and I'm a Demi-Human, which means I'm immortal. So if anything, I'm the one who should be protecting them and not the other way around!

"Gosh... this is ridiculous" I muttered, feeling annoyed. I roll my eyes and runs forward before the two of people who's suppose to guard me takes notice. But it's not long before I hear them screaming behind me, asking me to stop. But I ignore them and summon my black ghost. I soar up into the sky with my dual swords in hands.

With a lot of struggles, we finally managed to subdue the female titan. We take it as a chance to flee the area. I turn my head to see everyone scattering to get their horse. I fly towards Levi and lowers myself on the horse behind him. I wrap my arms around his torso, and we start to head back to the base.

We finally reached the base. I get off Levi's horse and start to stretch my arms above my head. I'd much rather travel by flying. Getting on a horse back is so tiring. I don't know how these people get used to this stuff.

"I'm so tired... I'm just gonna go and get some sleep" I said. I was about to walk away, but a hand grabs the back of my collar. I flail my arms a little, trying to regain my balance as I got pulled back. I turn my head to see it's Levi. "What's your problem?!" I said, annoyed.

"Not so fast... same goes to all of you. Especially both Alert and Ral" he said, turning to the others. I furrowed my eyebrow in confusion. Why did he look and sound so annoyed? This can't be good.

"Alert... Ral. I command you both to make sure Y/N didn't do anything rash. Why did you let her battle?" He said, turning to the two people who are suppose to guard me. I sweat-dropped at what he said. Levi didn't notice my reaction as he focuses his attention on the two cadets. "And for that... you're both punished for stable duty" he said.

"Wait a second..." I said, stepping closer towards him. He turns to look at me with his steel grey eyes. I place my hands on my hips. "Are you seriously mad because of that? I saved your life! Can't you be grateful for that?? And I'm the one who disobeyed your orders... so why're they the ones paying the price?!" I said.

"Well... knowing you, it won't do much affect. I'm pretty sure you're just going to keep disobeying me. So the best way to punish you, is to know that others have to pay the price if you don't listen to what I said" he said, crossing his arms across his chest.

"You're unbelievable..." I said, huffing at what he said. He lift his hand and ruffles my hair. He turns around and walks off. I let out a sigh and turn to Alert and Ral. "I am so sorry. You both get punished because of me" I said.

"It's fine... you meant well. You've saved everyone" he said. I just smile at what he said. I turn my head to look at Ral, only to see her storming off. I just watch her walks off.

"She's pissed..." I said. Yeager walks over and gently pat my shoulder. I turn to look at him, to see him smiling at me. He seem to be trying to assure me that it's going to be alright.

"Armin is right... you meant well and thanks to you, we are all saved" he said. I just give him a small smile. He pat my shoulder again. "Now, come on and head to the dining area" he said.

"But I'm not hungry. I'm tired. Can't I just go straight to bed?" I asked. He frowns at what I said. He loop his arm with mine, and start pulling me along with him.

"Not gonna happen... it's not good to sleep on an empty stomach. You have to eat. Even if it's just a few bites" he said. I let out a huff. Knowing him... he probably would not let me go until I do as he said. But I don't see what's the problem of me skipping some dinners. It's not like I can die anyway. But I guess I don't have a choice but to go along with it, or he wont leave me alone.

Time-skip

I've finished eating my dinner, so I decided to go ahead and head back to my shared room with Sasha. But before I could even get further out of the dining area, I hear my name getting called.

I turn my head to see it's Levi. I walk over to him. I give him a short salute. "What can I do for you, Captain?" I asked. He gives me a stern gaze.

"Come with me..." he said. He turns around and walks away. I stare at his back for a few seconds, wondering what he wants from me. "Hurry it up" he said, sternly. I let out a huff and follows along.

He ended up leading me to his office. He opens the door and walks in. I walk in after him. "Close the door..." he said. I just do as told. I turn around to face him, only to see that he's extremely close to me. I flinch at the sudden closeness.

"W-What?" I asked. He places his elbow right next to my head, making him leaning his face really close with mine. He stares at me intently. "What do you want?" I asked.

"Why can't you just listen to my orders?" He asked. I just stare at him for a few seconds. I try to move, but he place his other hand against the door as well. I let out a sigh and turn to look at him.

"I don't understand why are you so worried about me. It's not like I can die... and I'm more then capable to fight for myself. Have a little faith in!" I said. He blinks his eyes at what he said. He let out a sigh and flick my forehead. His sudden action makes me flinch. "What was that for?!" I asked.

"I care about you, okay?!" He said, slightly raising his voice while slamming a hand right next to my head. I flinched as I stare at him in shock. "I care about you... I told you, didn't I? I told you that I love you, Y/N... the thought of losing you is terrifying! I just don't want to lose you, okay? I know that you're a Demi-Human. But that doesn't mean I'd stop worrying. What if... what if there's a limit and you won't revive anymore?" He said. His voice cracks as he said the last part.

"Levi..." I said, my eyes softens as I stare at him. His shoulders starts to tremble. He lowers his head and place his forehead on my shoulder. He slowly wrap his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

"I have lost the people I cared about. I can't lose you too..." he whispered. What is he talking about? Who is he talking about? There's so many questions going on inside my head. But now isn't the right time to start questioning him.

I slowly wrap my arms around him, hugging him. I just stay silent as I wait for him to calm down. I didn't expect someone like Levi to show this side to me. I guess... I do mean something for him.
