"What are you doing?" He smirked at me over his shoulder.

"Sending Sterling photos so he knows I've not been kidnapped." I looked at him. "Smile." He gave me a small, subtle smile and I hit send on the photo, following up with a text.

See? Not been kidnapped but he did hold my hand and I had to remind myself I needed oxygen to breathe. I am in deep shit here with him. I can see it being nothing but trouble. Did I tell you he punched one of the jocks for me?

I locked my phone putting it back in my pocket as we walked around slowly.

This place was definitely right up my street. He was right about that. He'd stop at something he found interesting and I'd saunter over, translating and showing him which words mean what as I did.

We'd stand at each piece of art and just point out the different aspects, discuss what brushes or materials were used, how long did we think it took to piece it together? To get it to where the artist was happy with it.

I liked this. Intellectual conversation that was actually forcing me to think about things from new perspectives. My phone buzzed in my pockets and I rolled my eyes as I pulled it out. We would be done here soon. We only had the final exhibition left.

"I'll be 2 seconds it's Steel." Evan nodded and I walked out of the room, quietly answering the phone. "I'm busy, what's up?"

"Where are you?"

"That museum."

"Yes I can see that. Which one?"

"The Canaval-"

"You need to get him out of there."

"Why?"

"Do you know what the exhibition is on there at the moment?" I narrowed my eyes as I looked around the room I was already standing in.

"The French royal family or some shit. I don't know he told me earlier."

"Oh my god Fay. Where did you leave your brain?"

"Well that's rude." I crossed my arms.

"Freya. Has the boy made you dumb?"

"No." Someone was in a foul mood today and it wasn't me. "Can we tone down the attitude, you're starting to piss me off."

"Fay. There's a whole family tree thing at the end. It's not just the French royals. It's modern royalty. Your entire family tree is up there along an entire wall."

"What?" I walked forward, poking my head into the room off this one and sure enough. An entire wall. And even then it wasn't long enough. It wrapped around 3 walls. Ending with family portraits and where they were on the throne. "Shit."

"Yeah. Shit. You need to go."

"Alright. Alright bye." I hung up and pushed my phone back into my pocket as I walked back to him. "I'm bored. Can we go?"

"We've still got the exhibition."

"Eh. Not that bothered." I grabbed his hand. "We have to walk through it to get out anyway." The room I was avoiding wasn't the main one, nor was it one we had to pass through. If I could just avoid him seeing it, I might be okay.

"Fay what's wrong? What did Sterling want?"

"Oh nothing. Come on." I pulled his hands but he stayed still. "Please?"

"Last few rooms and we can go. Promise."

"1 room. Just the last room."

"It says there's 2-" He held up the map and I snatched it from him, screwing it up. "Fay."
