New State New Life **Editing In Process**

Cliff Jumping

"I haven't done this is a hot minute i'm excited" I smiled

"I still can't believe you've been cliff jumping" Connor said

"I did a lot of shit in New York. Mostly cause people thought I wouldn't, but I like the thrill" I smiled "Didn't do it in a bathing suit most times though, mostly wore shorts and a tee"

"What about this time?" Braxton asked

"Bikini" Marie laughed

"So are are shush" I laughed

Pulling up to the trail head, we parked the truck and started walking.

"How far is the walk?" Braxton asked

"Half a mile" Marie said

"So when someone gets hurt we get to carry them back half a mile" Connor said

"Yup" I smiled

After walking for 20 minutes we came to an opening and I looked at the creek. It's calm, nice. We all checked out the different heights and looked around before standing a few feet away and looked at each other.

"So, who's going first?" Connor asked

No takers. How much you wanna bet that water freezing, it's pretty hot today too.

"Fuck it, I will. Going off the lowest one though" I laughed

"Well strip girl" Marie said

Looking at my friend I shrugged and pulled my shirt off. We put our bathing suits on underneath our clothes. I had to go out and buy one because I couldn't find any. Throwing my shirt at Marie, I slipped off my shoes and took my shorts off as well. Then I walked over to the cliff and looked down. It's not that high and it looked like there were no rocks down there. Whelp guess we'll find out. Taking a couple steps back, I ran and jumped out off the rock. Hitting the water, it's decently warm and there were no rocks around. Coming up, I swam around and they all walked to the edge.

"How is it?" Connor yelled

"Pretty good" I yelled back

"My turn!" Marie yelled

She went next off the rock then Connor went. He does look pretty nice shirt less. There's a little beach bank thing on the other side that's pretty shallow so we're all just sitting over there.

"Okay Braxton you're up" I said

"Is it far?" He asked

"No" Marie yelled

"C'mon bro!" Connor yelled

He just stood there and looked at us.

"Hold on" I said

I swam back over to the rocks and climbed out. There a pefectly placed path to get out. Walking over to Braxton he looked terrified.

"You good?" I asked

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be" He said

"Well you still have your shirt and shoes on and you haven't jumped" I said

"Oh" he said

"It's not that bad I promise" I said

"Will you jump with me?" He asked

I looked over at the rock then looked at him.

"Yeah, I'll even hold your hand as long as you don't chicken out" I said "Do you want a wet hug?"

"But then i'll get my clothes wet" He said

"Well strip boy c'mon" I laughed

He nodded and took his shoes and shirt off.
