"Hey we just landed" I said answering my phone

"Are you still on the plane?" Maranda asked

"Just walked off. About to head to baggage claim. Did you guys get here yet?" I asked

"Yup landed about 30 minutes ago. Just got our rentals" My cousin said

"Rentals? Did you both rent a car?" I asked "This way Connor"

The boy looked at me and nodded as I was walking the opposite way as him.

"No, we figured since you got the house and invited us to stay with you. You're saving us a whole bunch of money with the hotel room. And you're not old enough to rent a car. We got you guys a rental, on us" Maranda said

"Aw, thank you. You didn't have to do that" I said

"The price for two car rentals was cheaper then the hotel room so we made out" She laughed

"I love you" I said

"Love you too. I'll text you the name of the rental company and let me know when you're on your way up. Dalton has to use the bathroom so i'll be sitting here for a little bit anyway" She said

"Will do" I replied

We both hung up and I looked over at Connor, he was on his phone. I had one hand on his arm so i'm currently guiding him through the airport. I sent Marie a text saying we've landed and soon we came to baggage claim. About five minutes went buy and the buzzer went off and bags started coming out.

"Is that really how it works?" Connor asked

"Yes" I laughed "Now go look for your bag"

The boy nodded and we stood at the edge of the carousel and waited for our bags. Luckily, they were one of the first 10 to come out. I double checked both our tags to make sure they were ours and I looked at the boy.

"Let's go find my cousin" I smiled

"She's still here?" He asked

"Yup. They rented us a car too" I said

"Really?" He asked

"Cause I got the house" I nodded.

He nodded as well and I shot her a text and followed the signs up to the rental area. Looking around I saw my cousin and her now fiancé sitting in very comfy looking chairs.

"Maranda" I said

"Becca!" She yelled standing up

I smiled and we hugged each up. I've missed her.

"Oh, Maranda this is Connor, who is also Marie's brother. Connor this is my cousin Maranda and her fiancé Dalton" I said

"Nice to meet you" Connor said

Maranda gave him a hug and he shook Dalton's hand. After we finished r hello's the two led the way across the street to the parking garage and we took an elevator up to the floor that our company was on. Walking out, we met up with one of the workers and Maranda handed him the paper. He nodded and motioned for us to follow him. Coming to a honda civic I looked at Connor and he laughed.

"Here is your first rental" The man said

"This is us" Maranda said "You two will like yours. It was cheaper then this surprisingly"

We nodded and followed the man down another aisle. Walking up he clicked the unlock button and the light on a ford f-150 flashed. Oh, okay this is good. The guy handed me the keys and I gave Connor a smile. We put our bags in the back seat, since it's a four door, and I hopped in the drivers seat. Connor got in and I started up the truck.
