"Dahil ba sa bet?" Napalingon ako sa kanya dahil sa sinabi niya.

"I missed you Ace." He suddenly blurted out. I can see the sadness on his eyes that I eventually avoided his gaze.

"I missed the Ace na pinoprotektahan ko sa mga bullies niya dati. You said I'm your protector right? That's why you like to call me Liam and ikaw lang ang pinayagan kong tawagin ako ng gano'n." That's right. You WERE my protector. Before.
"That won't happen again. Naririndi ka na kapag binabanggit ko 'yon diba? Don't worry. You won't hear me say it again. Ever." I saw pain on his face after hearing what I just said.
"Ace, that's not what I meant. Nadala lang ako ng galit. You can still call me Liam if you want to." He tried to reach for my hands, but he backed out when he realised what he's about to do.
"We'll I meant it when I said I won't ever say it again. Let's not dwell on the past Felix. May mga bagay sa nakaraan na dapat na lang ibaon sa limot. No need to bring it up. We're all so broken that fixing it will break us even more." I went back to painting when I saw a huge dot of paint on my canvass where it wasn't supposed to be.
