I made my way to the rooftop to enjoy the view. When I heard Marco's voice, he seems to be talking to someone. I was about to go back when I heard he was talking to a girl.

"Why did you come here? Leave now, Gabriella."

"Is that how you greet your fianceé Marco?" What? Marco has a fianceé.

"It is still not decided yet; don't get your hopes up." Marco said coldly.

"Why? Do you have somebody you like by any chance?" there was an awkward silence between their conversation. "I thought so, please be there at our marriage interview." The girl added.

"I don't need to" What? Why? "I do have someone I fancy." Marco likes someone. Who is she? I frowned knowing it could not be me because we're siblings. Wonder what Marco's type like.

"Is that so? It wouldn't stop me anyway. Goodbye. That's all I have to say, love." She said. Did she just call Marco her love?!

"What an annoying woman." Marco cussed. I accidentally tripped and opened the door and sprawl myself into an awkward position. My eyes widen. Marco saw me. I caught him in his bad mode, very bad timing Eli.

"Hi" I said innocently.

"How much did you hear?" he asked.

"Amm.. enough to know you have someone you like." I replied. He's blazing with angry.

"Haven't you ever heard that eavesdropping is bad? Dammit" he murmured.

"So who's the girl you like?" the words slipped out of my mouth. Curse you clumsily mouth.

" It's none of your business, Now can you leave me alone?!" he raised his voice. What am I doing? Of course, it is none of my business.

"Sorry." I lowered my head and retreated downstairs. I closed the door behind me. I was going back to the classroom when I heard a familiar voice.

"That's not a way to speak to a princess, Sir Marco Samuels." It's John. When did he get here? Is he spying on my again? I thought I didn't need any bodyguards cause I mysteriously turned into a Vampire, I can take care of myself.

"Who are you?"

"Let's just say I'm her lover." What my lover? What is he saying? What are you planning John?

"What did you mean by her lover?" Marco's voice seems to be full of anger.

"It means what it means. I am Elizabeth's lover." John said."But don't you worry she still doesn't knows about it yet." Really John? What exactly is this blonde idiot planning?

"What—" John did not let Marco to finish.

"But don't worry you still have a chance, she's not really blood related to you by any means. Prince Adrian did not have any other relationship with any other woman other than Miss Annaliz. If he had, I would know." Therefore, we are not siblings. I felt myself turning crimson red.

"But why did mother?"

"It's for you to find out" John said.
