“Why am I such a freak? Am I worse than the monsters in this school?” I cried. What am I really?

“We prefer you call us students. Don’t cry. Think of it as a gift. Everyone’s just different”

“I’m a human” the words slipped out of my mouth. He stands there obviously in shock. “Please don’t tell anyone.”

“I thought you were a vampire. I sensed you were a vampire. I really don’t care anyway but your blood is sweet” I got goosebumps just by hearing him say it devilishly. I have a bad feeling about this.

“I won’t tell anyone but in exchange, you’ll let me drink your blood” He looked at me, smirking.

“What?!” I shouted.

“Well, it’s your choice. Let’s see if you can survive tomorrow when they found out that you’re a human. Well, good bye Puny HUMAN Princess.” He said smiling at me innocently.

How can he have that innocent look when I am certainly going to die if he tells that secret?! Just imagine what can the monsters, students would do to me. My eyes show nothing but terror from the thought. I snapped and shouted to him. “Wait!”

“What??”

“I’ll let you drink my blood.” I murmured. Agghh, there is no other choice but to agree to do this.

“What did you say? I didn’t hear you.” I can see his huge grin. He obviously heard me. Arrgg! This bastard…

“I’ll let you drink my blood. But in exchange you’ll keep my secret.”

“Okay it settles then”

“But I do have some conditions. You’re allowed to drink my blood but only twice a month if you do it occasionally, I would die from blood loss. No one must know this fact, it would cause a ruckus.” They would fear me even more if they know I can’t be killed by a vampire’s bite.

“What?! But your blood is so sweet although it stings a little. Just one sip and I was addicted. I can’t survive with just twice a month”

“Well you better. It’s okay if I die tomorrow. I don’t really care anyway.” I smirked trying my best to impersonate him and walked away. He held my arm and stopped me.

“I’ll do it but don’t say things like you don’t care about your life.” He looks concern. Aww so sweet. If you look closer, he really is hot and so innocent-looking. He’s like a prince. I felt myself turning crimson red.

“If you die, it would be a pain in the ass to find another person with such sweet blood like yours around here.” -____- My dreamy prince figure shuttered in one glimpse.

“Hmmp. Okay it’s decided then.”

“Cover that vampire mark with this,” he offered me his scarf. I took it. I got out from the forest first. When I looked back, Marco was nowhere to be found. I saw John waiting for me by the gate.

“What were you doing in that forest?” John questioned. He has this demonic face.

“I thought I saw something but it’s really was nothing.” I said, doing my best to put up a straight face. My gosh… It’s nerve racking. I don’t want him to know that I was bitten by a Vampire. Judging by his reaction a while ago, he would certainly go for the kill.

“Don’t run around outside the school. It’s dangerous.” He opened the back seat’s door, and took a last glimpse at the forest.

I entered the limo. “I know.” I murmured.

“What?” he asked while entering the driver’s seat.

“Nothing.” I said without hesitation. I know that John knows about the school. I have so many questions to ask, but it’s best to hear the answer from the one whochosethis school for me.

I have been staring blankly at the window, wondering how I ended up as a living blood sack. I didn’t notice that we already arrived at the dorms. I opened the door and got out from the limo without waiting for John to do it for me. I knocked at the window of the driver’s seat. It slid open.

“Ask mom to see me tomorrow when class is over. Let her pick me up” I did not wait for him to answer.

I walk inside the building hearing him say “Yes milady” in a distance. “And Advance Happy Birthday.”  His voice turned cold. I turned around, John already left. I forgot my own birthday. I don’t really celebrate my birthday. It’s when my dad died. Mom would send me gifts but she’s always away for business and partying isn’t really my thing.

I walked around the school dorm, looking for my room. Oh I found it. Its room #3. My lucky #3. This must be a good sign. I tried to open the door, it was already unlocked. I didn’t have to use the keys that were provided at the desk.

As I walk in, my first impression was “It’s glamorous”. It even has a bathroom. It’s bigger than my bedroom back home but no walk-in closet.  I see my baggage already in a corner. There are two beds. So I have a roommate. Wonder who it is. Judging by the mountain of luggage on the right bed, he or she already decided which side she or he prefers. The door slammed open.

“Ekkk!~” I shouted out of surprise.

“What are doing in my room?!” a familiar voice spoke. It was Marco. So much for my lucky number 3.
