We made our way to the rooftop above the 6-story SS building. We took the elevator of course.

“It’s a pretty nice view, eh?” Hanako seems proud.

“Yeah. It’s really is magnificent but still I can’t see the whole campus.” I look beyond the horizon but sadly I can’t see the whole Yusuke campus. It made me wonder how big Yusuke high really is, when you can’t even see the whole of it above a 6 story building.

I’ve change the subject. “So Hanako, what were you doing in the library? aside from reading yearbooks.” I asked.

“That is all I’ve been doing, reading yearbooks. I’m gonna present a documentary about the school’s history for the festival.”

“Wowr. Nan’t maith thro ssshhe eit(Wow. Can’t wait to sssee it)----*cough *cough” Lailah said while her mouth’s full.

“Here, water” I gave her water to relive her from choking. “You shouldn’t really talk when your mouth’s full.” I giggled.

“Heheh, Sssorry” Lailah laughed.

“Hahahah” Hanako laughed.

“What’s so funny?” I asked.

“You’re like a mother Eli.” Hanako said.

“Hahahaha so it seems.” I replied smiling.

“You know Eli, when you first got here I was really scared of you, but I really love you now. You’re like a big sister to me.” Hanako said while wrapping her hands around me childishly, I can’t really feel anything, she’s a ghost after all.

“And why is that?” I’m confused.

“I heard that The Kingdom of Cartilizda was rule by Vampires with extraordinary powers. Then if you were the Princess, it would mean you’re even more powerful than Purebloods. And Marco as a pureblood was already very scary, what’s more if it’s a Royal Pureblood.”

“Ahh... I didn’t know that.” I lied. I am completely aware of how Marco can be ridiculously scary. I thought about the first time we’ve met at the forest.  Maybe that’s why I didn’t die when Marco bit me when I was still human, because I’m a Royal.

“But when a Royal pureblood vampire is bitten by another vampire, uhh let’s say a pureblood vampire bit a royal. Would the royal die?” I couldn’t control myself from asking.

“I never heard of a vampire ssssurviving from the venom of another vampire, even Royalsss, but if it’s the royal, there is a slight change, but the changes are like 2 in a million. Commonly the King can only survive it.” Lailah answered.

“So the Royal can die? And how about the queen?”

“Yes. The king is the most powerful of all vampires. He’s power is multiplied by some thousandths from he’s original power after the coronation, the queen’s power remains the same. Why are asking this?” Hanako answered, she seems curious. Wow, these guys know more about vampires that me, a living vampire.

“No particular reason. I’m just curious.” So why did I survive?

“Wait… how did you know about this?” I added.

“That’s the other reason why Yusuke high was build, to know the characteristics of all creatures schooling here to make peace, especially between werewolf and vampires, seeing they are the most powerful and the most stubborn creatures, no offence”

“None taken.” I smiled at them. Yeah I know, Vampire can really be stubborn, just like someone I know.

“And the other reason is to develop our ssshkillsss, essspecially in thossse who belong in familiesss of noblesss and royalssss.” Lailah enlighten me. Silly me. I entered this school and I didn’t even know what’s the purpose of it.

And after lunch, it was a couple of enjoyable yet tiring hours of costume making, decorating, table and chair arranging, trying on the costumes and so much more for the preparation of the Cultural festival. If I were still a human, I’m sure I’ve been already knocked out ages ago.

I went home to the dorm quite late today.

“Seems like Marco isn’t home yet.” I murmured to myself.

I thrown my bag over my bed then a book fell out. Oh I forgot I had this from the library.

“The Kingdom of Cartilizda” I said it out-loud. I flipped a few pages from the book then I saw something interesting that caught my eye. This might contain clues for the answer to my question.
