I walk around, collecting some stuff my mom wanted me to get from the store. I swing my basket in my hand as I look at the isle. Suddenly I bump into somebody, and when I look up, I know exactly who it is. "I'm so sorry Mrs. Terrell!" I quickly apologize. "How-...y/n!" She starts, but then recognizes me. "Hi..this is an awkward meeting again." I say as I now hold my basket close. "It's okay darling! How's Olivia doing?" Xandra asks, about my mom. "Mom's doing alright, as usual drowning out her sorrows with work, I wish she would take a break." I said with a sigh as I fumble with my fingers.
"Awh..maybe I could come by sometime, you all still live in the same place?" She asks. "Mhm!" I say with a smile. I've always had a small crush on her, even when I was little I thought she was the prettiest woman ever. "Great..might wanna warn Olivia first, I know how she can be." Xandra says with a laugh as her phone dings. "I gotta go..sorry, talk to you later!" Xandra walks off and I can't help but notice a decently big bruise on her wrist. I shake it off as I continue Shopping.
