I groaned and muttered a string of curse words as I stretch. When my eyes start to focus, I realize, I'm not in my own bed. I start to panic as I quickly sit up and look around the beige walls. This room seems...oddly familiar. The door cracks open, and Xandra peeks in. That's when I notice my raging headache. "Great you're awake. How's your head?" Xandra asks as she walks in and sets and advil and a glass of water on the side table. "Pounding...what happened?" I ask her as I rub my eyes.

"You got drunk and I just took you to my home. I can take you home later." Xandra says with one of her toothy grins that makes my insides melt. I crack a smile as I take the advil quickly. "I love when you smile.." I Mutter under my breath. I see Xandra smirk and let another toothy grin fly by my eyes. These are the little moments I live for.

I stretch and sit up more in the bed, before Xandra comes tackling me with tickles. "Good..god...Xandra!" I manage to scream out in between laughs. "Don't think I forgot how ticklish you are." Xandra says, a sly smirk smearing on her face. Suddenly she stops and just falls down on me as I hold her hips, keeping her from tickling me. "You're holding my hips?" Xandra asks with a smile. These are the little moments I live for.

"Shush, it's to keep you from tickling me." I say, throughout heavy breaths. "For sure." She says with an eye roll. "Anyways, where's..Larry?" I ask, just now thinking about him. "Long gone." Xandra says with a smile as she holds her head on my shoulder. My minds racing with thoughts about what Xandra said about divorcing him years ago. I brush the thoughts off, just living in the moment. "If you are gonna lay on me, you might wanna switch positions...your elbow is kind of digging into my ribs." I say with a chuckle. "Fine, fine." Xandra says with an eye roll as she moves around slightly, still laying on me, but much more comfortable. These are the little moments I live for.

"Why're you so cold?" I ask Xandra as I feel her hand. "Why're you so hot?" Xandra asks, a smirk dancing on her face. "Hm....genes." I say with a smile, it being able to go for temperature and look. Xandra smacks my arm slightly and chuckles. "Similar minds think alike." Xandra says as she buries her head in my neck, her breath cold against it. Her breath sends shivers down my spine, and my stomach grumbles. "What time is it?" I ask Xandra as I look around for a clock. "Around nine am." Xandra says, mumbling. "Are you tired? You seem like it." I ask as I run one hand through her hair, my other resting on her hip. "Kinda.." she grumbled, her voice very quiet. "Get some rest, I'll stay here with you." I say as I adjust slightly, making her sigh. She just nods her head and wraps her hands around my waist, pulling us impossibly close. These are the little moments I live for.

My heart and stomach ached, my crush growing and growing for her, as much as I knew she was straight, it grew. But I have to live for the little moments, not die for the big ones.
