That next morning everything was perfect. the sun was shining and the day seemed to be just great, but in 2nd period it all went down hill. Kai and I were sitting next to each other in history and we were holding hands under the desk. The teacher was continuing on with vampires and demons and totally disrespecting them. Kai started to squeeze my hand and and I don't think that it was with love, I think with rage. His hand started to get hot but it wasn't sweaty. I looked over to him to see if he was alright but The pupils in his eyes started to expand, and he was breathing heavily. I told Sir to stop and asked Kai if he wanted to go outside to calm down. He raced out the door and didn't come back to the lesson.
At recess I went up to him and asked if he was alright.
" babe, are you okay ?" I asked looking very concerned.
" Yes, it's okay, I'm alright just needed to take a walk. " Kai replied
"Okay" I say with a little smile.
We both stood there for a while just looking at each other when the bell rang to end recess.
" What do we have ?" Asked Kai
" Art " I replied
And we both strolled off to the art room.
The class was given an assignment. We had to partner up and draw there faces me and Kai went as a group and couldn't wait to start. We started a few minutes later and it was already going really well. Kai went first and drew my face and it looked amazing.
" oh my god that's amazing!, how can you draw that good?" I said with excitement.
"Lots of practise baby girl, lots of practise " replied Kai.
Next period was sport. Kai was really happy and I faked my excitement just to see him smile. As we went in I saw Amy's face all bruised and I couldn't help myself, I had to laugh. Eventually Kai figured out what I was laughing at and joined in. We were playing volleyball again. me and Kai were on opposite teams. All of a sudden this guy called Luke ( Kai's friend ) came up and started to talk to me.
" Hey I'm Luke, you're dating Kai right? Well I just wanted to say that you're really pretty "
" Umm............. thanks" I reply.
Kai somehow overheard our conversation and started to storm towards me.
" What do you think you're doing Luke?" Said Kai
" Just introducing myself " he replied
" Yeah, don't try that bullshit with me I know what you're up to and I'm just gonna say this once. Avery is my girl, you hear me, mine and you will never have her okay never, she can do way better than you!" Yelled Kai
But just as he finished he started to heat up and get super angry. As a demon he has super strength. He picked up Luke and threw him across the room. I eventually calmed him down and had a talk with him.
" Are you okay? " I asked
" Yeah I'm fine, please don't talk to him he will try and steal you from me" he said sadly
" I promise, okay?" I said
" okay " he replied
We went to lunch and sat down beside each other. Kai was just staring at me
" *giggle* what? " I ask
" Nothing, it's just......... you're so beautiful " Kai replied blushing a bit.
" Aww thanks " I said blushing as well.
About 10 minutes later the bell rang for 5th period and we had double geography. We actually knew what the teacher was saying this time, but it was still funny. We got into trouble a lot during the lessons, Kai had to be sent out and that made me laugh even more. It was the longest 2 lessons ever but thankfully the bell rang to tell us that it was home time. Kai and I walked home together, holding hands. I was so happy that he took my hand. It was like everything finally turned out good for me. " Well this is it " I say
"Awww really?, that went fast, too fast "
Replied Kai
So we kissed, hugged and went our separate ways.
" I can't wait to see him again " I thought to myself.
