Echo Squad was gearing up for the OP as Jinx walked up to them.
"You all remember the briefing?" Jinx would ask.
"Not exactly... I might of forgotten something," Skeleton began, "could you quickly go over it?" Skeleton asked.
L4 beeped in agreement.
"You're going to be halo jumped near near an enemy airfield on an intelligence gathering mission." Jinx stated.
"Sounds like fun," Skeleton said as he finished gearing up, "So, we're going stealth on this one?" He finished the question.
"I think the gathering intelligence was a giveaway." Spirit stated.
L4 beeped inquisitively.
"Im assuming plans and such. " Spirit replied to the droid.
"Well, I don't think L4 can come with us," Skeleton remarked, "As I do not think that it's model of droid can have a parachute or something attached." Skeleton would finish.
"Skeleton, you're carrying the droid during the jump. Your jetpacks are aboard the gunship already." Jinx said.
"Fine, I'll carry L4 and try not to drop it. Although I don't know why we are bringing L4 aong." Skeleton said.
"L4 needs to cart the data." Volta informed while heading to the gunship.
Everyone else headed for the gunship as well. Skeleton not too happy with the fact that he would be carrying L4 during the jump.
"Good luck Echo Squad." Jinx said.
L4 let out an encouraging beep.
Skeleton put on his jetpack once he got into the gunship and waited, as did the rest of the squad.
"You all will jump first, I'll be right behind you, secure the area once you land." Volta ordered.
L4 rolled up beside Skeleton.
Skeleton let out a sigh as he picked up L4 and waited for the order to jump.
The gunship had taken off and headed towards it's destination.
"The moment we arrive jump." Volta stated.
The pilot informed the squad that they had reached the jump altitude.
"Jump everyone, as I said I'll be right behind you." Volta commanded.
Skeleton jumped out first holding L4, trying to land in the correct landing zone and not in the middle of the place they were going to break into.
Spirit jumps out of the gunship with Cassatopia jumping after him. Volta jumped out as the rest of the squad landed, not yet activating his jetpack, free falling.
"You're going to kill yourself doing this one day Volta." Jinx said on the comms.
"No I'm ok." Volta assured on the comms.
Volta would activate his jetpack at the absolute last second possible landing a bit rough but unscathed.
"Echo Squad, check in." Jinx said over comms.
"Spirit checking in." Spirit stated over comms.
"I landed fine... but L4 is heavy, almost dropped them." Skeleton said over comms.
"Cassatopia here checking in and I'm alright." Cassatopia would inform over the comms.
"I'm fine." Volta stated simply over comms.
