The Trials

It had been several weeks since Mimix was taken to the Jedi Temple on Courasunt. Master Seeker had tried to get to know Mimix but to no avail. One day, he found her by the tree within the jedi temple. Master Seeker walked over to Mimix and sat down next to her. Mimix looked up at Master Seeker.

"Yes Master?" Mimix asked.

"Listen Mimix, look, I know we didn't exactly get off on the right foot when we first met. However, if I am to train you, we need to learn how to work together." Master Seeker explained.

"I just... I miss my loth cat plush... it helped me to stay calm..." Mimix admitted.

Master Seeker nodded and let out a sigh.

"I want to take you somewhere. Away from the jedi temple. A place you will be able to clear your mind." Master Seeker stated.

"Back to Echo Squad?" Mimix asked hopefully.

"No not back to Echo Squad. I want to take you to the Forest Moon of Endor. I think getting you out of the temple will allow you to clear your mind." Master Seeker said.

"The Forest Moon of Endor?" Mimix echoed in confusion.

"Yes, a remote moon. Located in the Outer Rim Territories. I'm thinking that you are someone that likes to be outside, connected to nature. It provides you with a sense of peace being outside." Master Seeker explained and questioned.

"Well... I do like being outside... feeling the wind brush up against me.... listening to the different creatures scurry about... I can't do any of that here. Everything is so...noisy here..." Mimix admitted.

Master Seeker nodded in understanding.

"Here, tell you what. I'll go see if I can get us cleared to move your training to the Forest Moon, but, if I do that, we will be talking to get to know each other on the way. After all, if we don't know one another how can we be sure we have eachothers backs when we are in danger?" Master Seeker said.

Mimix smiled.

"I can agree to that Master." Mimix replied.

"Then it's settled. I will return when the council has given me the answer." Master Seeker said.

Master seeker then stood up and walked off. Leaving Mimix at the tree where he found her. A few hours passed by before Master Seeker returned.

"The council approved the request to continue your training on the Forest Moon of Endor. We will be departing shortly." Master Seeker informed.

"I just hope that relocating where I'm doing my training will help me." Mimix admitted.

"I hope so too Mimix." Master Seeker stated.

"What if it doesn't work..." Mimix asked.

"Then we find another way." Master Seeker replied.

Mimix nodded. Soon Mimix and Master Seeker loaded up in a jedi shuttle and took off toward the Forest Moon of Endor.

"So Mimix tell me about yourself." Master Seeker mentioned.

"What did you want to know?" Mimix asked.

"Well I know what happened to your parents that's about all I know. I don't know what your life was like before that or how you came to know the members of Echo Squad. So just what you feel comfortable with telling me." Master Seeker replied.

Mimix would nod.

"I see...," Mimix sighed, "Growing up on Concord Dawn my parents and I saw first hand what war led to. My parents would try to help the efforts on the more support side to stay out of the fighting aspect. They would leave me at home.... As I grew older the wars started to get closer to home. That's when Death Watch broke in and killed my parents... I...I think they were going to kill me too... so...I-I ran off... I managed to get aboard a shuttle before it took off. After that, I just kept sneaking onto a new one each time the one I was on landed." Mimix would explain.
