The gunship would take off after offloading the squad. Spirit watches the gunship take off then looks at his squad
"Well shall we get going?" Spirit asked.
No sooner, Jinx was on the comms.
"Alright guys, start heading to your northeast." Jinx said over the comm unit.
Skeleton starts heading Northeast, keeping his guard up incase any hostile forces start attacking or come into his line of sight. Volta would walk at the lead of the squad. Leaving Spirit to bring up the rear with Mimix infront of him, covering the squad.
The squad made their way to the base where they'd set up for the mission at had. They would need to wait for further instructions before continuing.
All of the squad was relaxing around the barracks of the temporary base.
"Echo Squad! We got a mission, report to briefing." Jinx said over coms.
Mimix stood up and headed to the briefing room. Skeleton headed to the briefing room arriving shortly after Mimix did. Spirit headed to the briefing room as well. Volta put away his cleaning materials and loads up his z6 onto his back and holsters his dc-17m walking to the briefing room.
As everyone arrived in the briefing room the squad would see a new commando standing next to Jinx. Spirit would tilt his head not saying anything.
"Who is the shiny, advisor?" Volta asked.
"This is Dax. He's the replacement medic for Cassatopia." Jinx informed.
"Mmm time to break a new shiny" Volta stated.
"I've been assigned as the new team medic." Dax said confidently, ignoring Volta.
"Alright...Let's hope this Medic does his job well..." Skeleton said.
"Welcome to the team." Spirit said nodding.
"I'll do my job, I take pride in work that helps people get better." Dax said determinedly.
Volta pulled his dc-17 putting it to Dax's head.
"You endanger the squad in any form this trigger will be pulled." Volta warned.
"That's a bit too far sir..." Spirit said.
"That's all I needed to say." Volta stated holstering his weapon.
Dax took three steps back.
"That's a a bit harsh of a greeting?" Dax said concerned.
"He did the same to all of us, even the kid over there." Spirit stated motioning to Mimix.
"Dax, just uhm don't piss off Volta...though if you harm anyone he cares about...you better run." Skeleton warned.
"Volta for the love of God, why must you do this to the new people!" Jinx snapped rather annoyed.
"Because those two incidents are much to fresh in my mind advisor" Volta sneered.
"I for one am not surprised he did that.." Spirit admitted.
