Reject Squad: the struggle of commandos

It has been a few days since the fleet abandoned the planet and things are calming down, the wars between the natives kept the separatist busy enough not attack the platformnews from the wars don't help either. The separatist betrayed the BID and helped the commonwealth to invade and take the BID capital

Volta would continue on the speeder bike and kept searching for the Aurora he attempted to use the comms on it to gain contact with the rig.

"This is commander Apalm, echo team and ARC troopers report to briefing." Apalm stated in the comms.

Seeing nothing Volta would flip around going full speed back towards the rig. Volta then would turn back on his coms,
"Apalm sir, can you bring me in on comms for the briefing? It will take a day or so for me to return can you have me in the briefing through comms so I can keep up on what is going on?"  He asked Apalm

"Negative I'm sending a gunship for you." Apalm states.

"Understood sir should I stop movement then also I am prepared for any punishment that comes to me for having left as I did." Admits Volta

"You better be." replied Apalm.

Volta waited for the gunship to arrive and when it did, he climbed on and waited for it to take him back to the base. When Volta arrived on base, he made his way to the briefing room still unsure of what his punishment would be. The rest of Echo Squad soon filed in, followed soon after by the ARCs and Apalm himself.

"I'm sure that you've all heard the news about the war the natives are waging on each other. BID resistance is slowly crumbling and soon the Separatists will try to wipe us out," Alpam stated. "But, there is good news," He continued, "We managed to locate the signal jammer that's jamming our long range transmitter. If we can take it out, then we can contact the republic fleet." Apalm concluded.

"Great... going further awat and we still cant reach the advisor." Okami said worriedly.

Aplam sighed starting to get rather annoyed by Okami's obsession with finding the advisor. Okami however, didn't pick up on this. 

"Okami enough! The advisor is not our main focus anymore nor should it be." Volta snapped.

Okami looked over at Volta

"Surviving is what we need to do." Stated Volta plainly as Okami gritted his teeth and looked down.

"Now commander, please continue." Volta stated.

"We are sending Echo team in to find and destroy that jammer at all costs." Apalm explained.

The members of Echo Squad just listened to what was being said, thats when Volta spoke out of term.

"So a suicide mission as that jammer will be near impossible to get out alive depending on the defenses around it.

Aplam suddenly cleared his throat loudly to indicate that he wasn't finished speaking. Thyph also shot Volta a look that just screamed 'Your ass is doing a shit ton of PT if you don't zip it' Okami sensing the tension in the air didn't make eye contact with anyone.

"As i was saying," Apalm continued "due to a certain lac of trust in Echo team's ability, the ARC troopers will be coming along as well." Aplam concluded

"As our babysiters." Thyph seemed to pick up

"Yes, squad lead Thyph is correct." Apalm quickly answered

Volta clicked his tongue making a hardly audible 'Tsk' sound.

"The ARCs have already been briefed. The mission will take place at night so you have some time to get ready. Dismissed!" Apalm bellowed.
