Jake stared at Sunghoon in shock. His face had dried tear stains running down his cheeks, his dark hair was a mess, and his eyes were red and puffy, like he'd been crying.

Jake gave the leash to Hyejoon and told Layla to sit. Then he stood up.

"Where have you been?!" Jake burst out. "Do you know how worried we all were?!"

Sunghoon bit his lip. "I know. And im sorry for ignoring you guys. I had my phone on silent then i lost it. I found it yesterday."

"Then why didn't you answer us?" Jake demanded.

Sunghoon shrugged. "I-i don't know."

A few people were giving them strange looks so Jake took Laylas leash back from Hyejoon, and grabbed Sunghoons hand. Sunghoons eyes widened.

"C'mon you're coming with us to my house. We'll talk there," Jake said firmly. Sunghoon nodded.

At Jakes

"Appa?"

Jake turned toward his son and knelt to his height. "Yeah Joon?"

"Will i ever have another Appa?" Hyejoon asked.

"I-i mean..." Jake paused wondering how to answer. "You might."

"Why not now? My friend told me if you're alone your lonely," Hyejoon looked at Jake with puzzled Bambi eyes.

"Well, yes. But who said im alone? I have you, and Layla, and all of my friends. Im not lonely because i have people like you in my life." Jake said. "Im taking my time to find someone who i love and will treat all of us well. But don't worry if i don't fine anyone because i have you guys so i wont be lonely."

Hyejoon thought about that for a minute then nodded. "Okie Appa!"

Jake chuckled and pecked his sons forehead. "Now why don't you go play with Layla?"

"Okie!" Hyejoon said and scampered off.

Sunghoon watched as Jake stood up from his crouch. Then he asked. "How come you didn't tell us you had a literal son?"

Jake turned. "Jay and Heeseung knew..." he said awkwardly.

Sunghoon gave him a 'that doesn't answer my question' look. Jake sighed and grabbed Sunghoons hand again. Without saying anything he dragged him to Jakes room.

Sunghoon sat on the edge of Jakes bed, while Jake, after shutting the door, sat leaning on the headboard.

"Now. Hyejoon," Sunghoon said somewhat snappily. He didn't know why he was mad. He just was. "If you're gay then why-"

"Ima stop you right there," Jake cut off. "I haven't done it with anyone if thats what you're curious about. Hyejoon...he isn't my biological son. He..." Jake paused. Then he decided to just tell him from the beginning.

"Hyejoons biological mother died giving birth to him," Jake started. "Since she had no relatives, my parents decided to adopt him. For two years he was my little brother," Jake glanced at Sunghoon then looked back down at the bed. "Im sure Heeseung hyung and Jay hyung told you about the fact that me and my parents got into a car accident and only i survived. Well thats not entirely true. My parents got into a car accident and they died. I wasn't there, i was babysitting Hyejoon. Thats just a story to tell people," Sunghoon looked closer and saw tears welling up in the olders eyes. "Anyway," Jake continued. "Since i was at legal age, i decided to adopt Hyejoon as my own. I couldn't stand to see him with another family. So these past two years I've been raising him as my son. And dont worry he knows what happened. I explained it to him as best i could."
