"HOON HYUNG! YOU'RE BACK!" Niki yelled excited. He ran to the older and hugged him like a koala. Sunghoon laughed and hugged the younger back.

"Hey Riki," Sunghoon said with a slightly forced smile. Niki smiled back but it faded slowly. "Hyung? Are you okay? Should you be back at school?"

Sunghoon sighed. "Im okay, its something else now."

"What?"

"Rent went up," Sunghoon said. "And guess who doesn't have enough for it?"

"Will they let you stay?" Niki asked.

Sunghoon shook his head. "No, if i don't move out by the end of this month then im getting kicked out. The apartment complex people have no sympathy whatsoever." Sunghoon scoffed.

"Im sorry hyung but my parents probably wont let you stay with me," Niki said apologetically. Niki lived by himself but his parents helped pay for his housing bills so they probably wouldn't want to pay anymore than they are already.

"Its okay Niki. I didn't think they would anyway," Sunghoon reassured.

Of course-because Niki is Niki-the younger brought the subject up at lunch. Everyone looked at Sunghoon making him embarrassed.

"Life seems to hate you right now huh?" Jay inquired with a raised eyebrow. Jungwon nudged him.

"No its okay," Sunghoon said. "And yes it really does."

"So you need somewhere to stay?" Heeseung asked pulling them back on topic.

"Well, by then end of this month, yes," Sunghoon nodded. "I'll find somewhere don't worry."

"You could stay with me," Jake offered.

The whole table looked at Jake like he had grown a second head.

Jake paused chewing with a slightly offended look. "What?" He said around his food. "I live alone with Hyejoon and Layla in a literal mansion. I think i could offer hospitality," he said sarcastically.

"Jake, you already have me money for the skating competition, you don't need to-"

Jake cut him off. "Pack your things when you get home. I'll stop by your complex, pick you up, and bring you to my place. Game? Good," Jake nodded as he proceeded in eating his lunch.

At Sunghoons place

Sunghoon entered his home and looked around. He couldn't believe he was leaving it. It wasn't the best but it had worked.

Sunghoon shook his head. He didn't have time to be nostalgic. He ran to his room, opened his closet and pulled out his suitcase. He began to stuff his clothes in it. After he was done with that, he started stuffing his other belongings in both his suitcase and his backpack.

Just when he had finished, he heard a knock on his door. Sunghoon quickly ran and opened it. Jake stood there carrying a sleeping Hyejoon in his arms.

"Sorry he wanted to come but the car ride made him sleepy," Jake said apologetically.

"Its okay," Sunghoon said. "Here come in. I just have to turn in my key and we are good to go."

Jake nodded and stepped in. Sunghoon hurried to turn in his apartment key. The lady seemed surprised when she found out he was leaving. But Sunghoon just brushed it off and made his way back to Jake and Hyejoon.

Sunghoon grabbed his backpack and slung it on his shoulders. He grabbed his suitcase and his skating bag. Jake stood.

"Ready?"

"Yeah."

At Jakes place

"Here you can have this room," Jake pointed to one across from his. "Hyejoon is in the one next to me," Jake explained.

"Thank you," Sunghoon said gratefully. "You really didn't have to do this."

"Ehh its fine," Jake waved his hand in a carefree manner. "Just don't be to loud," he joked.

"Please. I'll be so quiet you wont remember im here," Sunghoon rolled his eyes and joked back. Jake grinned and was about to reply, when a crying sound arouse from Hyejoons room.

"Sh*t i gotta take care of this, gimme a minute," Jake said apologetically. He ran into Hyejoons room. Sunghoon found himself making his way to the doorway to watch. He wasn't sure why.

Jakes POV

Jake picked up Hyejoon out of his toddler bed who was bawling his eyes out. He held the child close and rubbed his back.

"Hey Joon its okay it's okay," Jake whispered. Slowly, the crying stopped.

"What happened buddy?" Jake asked softly.

"I had a nightmare," Hyejoon sniffled.

"About what?"

"Me losing you," Hyejoon said.

"Oh, Joon. You wont loose me. Even if im not around im still in one special place. Your heart. But don't worry i don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon," Jake added. Then he noticed Sunghoon in the doorway.

"You remember Sunghoon?" Jake asked his son. Hyejoon nodded.

"Well, he is gonna be living with us," Jake said. Hyejoons eyes lit up.

"Really?!" He squealed making Jake chuckle.

"Yup," Jake beckoned Sunghoon closer. Sunghoon paused but obliged.

"Will he play with me Appa?" Hyejoon asked.

"I don't know. Why don't you ask him?" Jake nodded to Sunghoon.

"Will you play with me?" Hyejoon asked this time to Sunghoon. Sunghoon couldn't help but smile.

"Of course buddy," he agreed. Hyejoon held out his arms to Sunghoon signaling he wanted to he held by him. Jake looked at Sunghoon, and when he nodded, passed his son over to him.

"Can we play now?" Hyejoon asked super excited to have a new playmate. Jake wasn't the most comfortable with letting Hyejoons toddler friends over because he was afraid the parents would judge how young Jake was. So any new playmate was welcome.

Sunghoon chuckled. "Sure, why not?" He set Hyejoon down and let the toddler drag him to a random toy out off many scattered on the floor in his room.

Jake followed them with a smile. "You seem to be good with kids," he inquired.

Sunghoon glanced up at him and smiled shyly. "I used to visit my old orphanage, so i guess i know a thing or two."

"Then do you wanna change him?" Jake asked with a smirk.

"What th-no!" Sunghoon yelped.

Jake laughed. "Don't worry he's potty trained."

Sunghoon glared at the laughing male. "Shut up," he grumbled. Which only made Jake laugh harder.

Sunghoon looked down to hide his smile.
