"Cant catch me!!" Niki yelled laughing hysterically down the beach, dodging people, seagulls, and the occasional flying beachball.
"Get your ass back here Nishimura Riki!!" Engene screamed back as they chased after the younger. As it turned out, Niki and Engene had matching chaotic personalities, which gave Heeseung and Sunoo something to bond over, as they wonder how they've lasted dating the two for so long.
Speaking of Sunoo, he was with Sunghoon. Sunoo asked Sunghoon how long he could hold a handstand. Sunghoon obliged till a wave swamped him. He came up coughing, his dark hair now darker from the water and plastered to his face.
Heeseung, Jake, Jay and Jungwon were playing a volleyball match in the sand. Jake was teamed up with Heeseung, Jay with Jungwon. The score was tight being about 5-5.
Yes they are at the beach, and yes Christmas break is coming up next month. Blame climate change.
"Pfft HAHAH!" Sunoo burst out laughing looking at Sunghoons wet state. The younger had run to grab a towel for the other male. Now as he handed it over his arm was shaking with laughter. Sunoo was practically doubled over.
"Its not funny!" Sunghoon protested as he dried his hair. "It your fault!"
"Im aware its my fault," Sunoo snickered gleefully. "And it is to funny!"
Sunghoon glared at Sunoos laughing figure. Then an idea for revenge sparked in his head and he smirked. Sunghoon shoved Sunoo into the water.
Sunoo yelped and fell with a splash. He came up sputtering.
"Hey!" Sunoo yelped.
"You deserve it. Now we're even," Sunghoon shrugged. He made an L with his hand and walked up the beach to the little spot the group had managed to grab, sand sticking to his feet. He knelt on a picnic blanket as he put the towel away.
"Hey Sung-"
"I didn't do it!" Sunghoon jumped and yelped quickly. The person behind him started laughing.
"Why is everyone laughing at me today!" Sunghoon whined. He turned. "Oh h-hey Jake."
The reason Sunghoon stuttered? Jakes body. His perfectly sculpted figure which made Sunghoons face go red. He hadn't expected to turn and see Jakes abs. He knew Jake was fit but damn.
"Why did you jump?" Jake asked still giggling.
"I dunno you just...surprised me," Sunghoon shrugged.
Jake leaned a little closer to tease the younger. "Do i surprise you often?" He asked his voice quieter. It was clear Jake was in one of his flirty moods.
"Depends," Sunghoon shrugged again. "Why? Do you plan on surprising me anytime soon?"
Jake leaned even closer making Sunghoons face heat up. "Maybe," Jake whispered. Then the older pulled away. Jake gave Sunghoon a wink, then turned back to the others he was playing volleyball with. Sunghoon stood there slightly dripping and wondering: what just happened?
After the beach day at Jakes house
"Umm...Jake?" Sunghoon asked. Jake had just exited Hyejoons room quietly having just lied him down for a nap. Jake turned after shutting the door silently.
"Hmm? Whats up?" Jake tilted his head in question.
"What did you mean at the beach?" Sunghoon asked straightforwardly. Jake paused the looked at Sunghoon.
"Remember the surprise i told you about?" He asked instead. Sunghoon nodded.
"Well here it is," Jake took a deep breath obviously nervous. His nervousness made Sunghoon nervous.
