Misunderstanding (JAKEHOON)

The end of Sung-Jun not that anyone cared

Sunghoon gave a relieved sigh as he left class. He had a free period which he DESPERATELY needed. There was only so much time he could spend sitting in a chair pretending to listen to the teacher.

Sunghoon dropped his stuff off at his locker then went to find his friends. On his way to wherever he passed an empty classroom. He glanced inside then immediately regretted it.

Seojun, Sunghoons girlfriend, was making out with a random girl. Sunghoon gaped. If Seojun liked girls then why was she dating him?

Sunghoon cleared his throat loudly. Both girls pulled away and Seojuns eyes widened.

"S-sunghoon what are you-"

"If you liked someone else why didn't you tell me? We could have ended our relationship better than this!" Sunghoon spat.

"What if i never liked you?" Seojun countered.

"Then why did you date me?!" Sunghoon exploded. "Im not rich, hot, or popular!
What do you get dating me?!"

"A broken heart," Seojun smirked.

Sunghoon stared at her. "You're messed up. And i know it doesn't make any difference but we're over." Sunghoon stormed out of the room.

Jungwon hurried to his locker and shoved his stuff in. Y'know that feeling when your best friend isn't okay and you know they need you? Yup Jungwon was getting a serious dose of that right now.

Jungwon turned sharply and promptly bumped into someone. He jumped back.

"Oh my gosh! Im so sorry!" Jungwon yelped and offered his hand. Only then did he realize it was Jay. Jay. His crush.

Jay grunted an 'its okay' and accepted his hand. Jungwon pulled him up trying to steady his heart rate.

"Where were you going in such a hurry?" Jay asked rubbing the back of his head which had hit the floor.

"I gotta find Sunghoon. Im worried about him." Jungwon bit his lip nervously. Sunghoon had too bad a past already. How well would he handle...whatever had happened?

"I saw him," Jay's voice cut through his thoughts.

"YOU DID?! WHERE?!" Jungwon yelped.

"He was in a classroom," Jay shrugged. "I only glanced inside once so i didn't catch anything weird. But I'll show you where. Follow me."

Jungwon followed Jay through the halls. He could barely breath. He was so close to his crush, he couldn't believe it. He felt his face heat up and was glad Jays back was to him.

Little did he know Jay was going through the exact same thing.

"It was here," Jay pointed at a classroom.

"Thanks," Jungwon glanced inside. There was Sunghoon alright. His figure was sitting against the wall staring glumly at the floor. "You've been a big help."

Jay smiled. "Its no problem. Hey...if you can, do you want to stop and get milkshakes after school?"

Jungwon eyes widened in happiness. "I'd love to!"

Jay grinned. "Alright I'll see you at the entrance?"

"Yup!"

Jay laughed. "Alright see ya Jungwon-ah," Jay waved as he left.

Jungwon paused to settle his heart rate. Then he entered the classroom.

Jungwon didn't try to muffle his footsteps as he made his way to Sunghoon. He knelt and placed a gentle hand on the older's shoulder.
