As embarrassing as it was to admit, Taehyung didn't have many friends, he kept in touch with Yoongi and Namjoon of course but they remained in Daegu, whereas he had moved to Seoul on the first chance he got. The acting community was very hostile and the friendships were fake, once Taehyung had learned that, he decided he wouldn't have any friends. Loneliness was better than betrayals in his eyes and on the bright side, no fake friends meant no scandals. No one knew enough about him to go spewing garbage to the press. He had a stellar academic record and the only "blip" on his resume was his ongoing relationship which had already been revealed to the public long ago.
The brunette may not have any friends, but he still needed a social life outside of his already very busy boyfriend. Taehyung and Heejin had met in acting class, she wasn't his best friend rather mainly his only friend, when the director of the mini-series heard the two knew each other, Taehyung had been booked and so he was now debuting as an actor along side a friend.
Today, Heejin and Taehyung had agreed to meet at a small café they both enjoyed, the brunette was currently waiting for her, sitting down on a bench in front of the café when a big SUV parked a little down the street and out of it came Heejin. Her perfect brown hair was cascading down on her shoulders, her thin lips were highlighted with a light red shade, creating a perfect contrast with her white skin. She wore an all white outfit (pants and blouse) with black stiletto heels and a long, brown coat was falling down from her shoulders as well.
She waved hello to Taehyung from the car before placing her hand on Jungkook's forearm and whispering something in his ear. He nodded his head and she smiled her perfect smile, walking towards the café. Taehyung didn't know why, but the desire to spend time with his friend had suddenly turned into dread, knowing he would be spending hours in the same place as Jungkook and Heejin bothered him.
"So, why did you leave the party so abruptly the other day?" Heejin put down her small cup of coffee and looked at her friend.
"Oh, I was starting to get sick so I asked Bogum if we could go home"
"That's too bad. I ended up having a wonderful time with Eunwoo, even though I ended up having a little too much to drink, I think" She pointed towards Jungkook who was standing a few meters away and continued. "Jungkook here had to help me all the way to my apartment. When I woke up I was scared I had driven him away but he was still there"
"He slept at your apartment?" Taehyung asked with wide eyes making the girl gasp.
"God no, what kind of person do you think I am?" Heejin acted indignant at the thought but her giggle and faint blush covering her cheeks told another story. "I meant he's still working for me"
Taehyung nodded his head, his eyes going to look behind Heejin's head towards Jungkook. The boy smiled from the corner of his mouth, his eyes staring right at Taehyung.
This is starting to get on my nerves
"So, now that the shoot has wrapped, what do you have in store?" Taehyung asked.
"Well I already have a bunch of scripts to read but I think I'm going to lay low for now"
"Lay low?" The brunette repeated.
"Well if I already have stalkers now, I can't even begin to imagine how much worse it will get if I become even more famous"
Taehyung was dying to point out all the flaws in the girl's statement but decided to stay quiet.
"How about you?" She asked instead.
"I have another series planned"
"That's right! Did you know I was offered a small part in that as well? I said no, but I might reconsider it, I had such a blast working on this series with you" Heejin smiled kindly and briefly squeezed her friend's hand.
