A month after the weekend in the resort, Taehyung had started working on his new drama series with Sejeong, heejin had also been casted as his best friend in the series. With Bogum being in between jobs, it was now Taehyung's turn to come home late, leave early in the morning and justify his lack of presence at home.
The atmosphere on set was amazing, Taehyung had a blast working with Sejeong and since the resort, he and Jungkook had started getting along really well. In between takes he would go talk with Heejin and Jungkook if he was there and recently the two boys had started playing overwatch together once more. Taehyung would sometimes lock himself in his office for hours, playing with Jungkook.
A few days ago, Bogum had confronted Taehyung about how much time he spent away from home, Taehyung didn't know what to say, his boyfriend was an actor, he knew how time consuming that could be. After the resort, Taehyung had been open about his friendship with his ex-boyfriend, after all Bogum had been the one telling him to get over himself, but recently, he noticed the elder had a weird behavior when it came to Jungkook.
Instead of asking him about it frankly, Taehyung had decided to stop talking about Jungkook to Bogum and when he had asked if he came to the set often, he had lied and told him no.
It was half past ten when Taehyung jiggled the keys and entered his apartment. He was exhausted from his day and all he could think about was going to bed but when he saw all the lights were on, he instantly knew Bogum had waited for him, and that could only mean trouble.
"You're home" The elder got off the couch and walked to the kitchen where his boyfriend was.
"I know it's late but the memory stick in the camera bugged and we lost a huge part of what we had filmed and had to re-shoot what we could" Taehyung opened the cupboard and poured himself a glass of wine.
"Is that really what happened?"
"Yes, why would I lie?"
"I don't know, why did you lie about Jungkook not being on set?"
Taehyung froze and exhaled, he had walked right into that one.
"Well? Why did you?"
"Because when we were at the resort Jungkook said that it looked like it bothered you when he and I were together. I didn't believe him but then recently it's obvious to see that it does bother you-"
"So you decided to lie?"
"Well I didn't want you keep on feeling bothered! And since there's nothing going on, it's win-win. It's not like I was hiding something important..."
"I don't believe this, Tae. You really think you did nothing wrong??"
"Yes" Taehyung saw Bogum roll his eyes and turn on himself before staring at him again. "What? What did I do wrong, then?"
"You lied about seeing your ex-boyfriend every day!"
"Let me ask you this, does it bother you that Jungkook and I are friends now?"
"No! I would have said something if it did. I mean, I do worry sometimes and I can't help myself from feeling a bit jealous when I see you two alone together but I wanted to be a trusting boyfriend and I convinced myself that the way I felt wasn't bad enough to ask you to stop being friends. But now..."
"Now what?"
"Now I think maybe I do have a reason to worry"
Taehyung heard Bogum sigh and look down. He felt bad for him, he had no idea his boyfriend had been feeling like this, but he should have known he would act in a mature way, Bogum had always been very wise.
