Tonight was dinner night at Eunwoo's apartment and it would be our first dinner without Jungkook being a bodyguard to one of us. Two weeks ago, Heejin had announced her contract with Jungkook had now expired and with he stalker being long gone, the separation was overdue. When the news had broken, Bogum and I had a long discussion about whether or not Jungkook should remain a friend and after I promised him there was nothing going on between him and I, we agreed that the group friend should remain.
Bogum and I had arrived first this time and were waiting for the others, the doorbell rang and Sejeong appeared with a big smile. With her hair let down, cascading on top of her expensive Coco Chanel's blazer, she looked incredible and I wasn't the only one who thought that, I peeked over at Eunwoo who wore a big smile, looking her up and down.
Not long after, Jungkook and Heejin arrived as well, something felt weird seeing them arrive together when they weren't working with each other anymore.
"Hello, everyone" Heejin's warm voice greeted us as she took off her coat, revealing a slim black dress that highlighted her incredible physique.
"Heejin, I love that dress! Where did you get it!" Sejeong got up from her spot next to me on the couch and went to gush over the dress.
"Have you been here long?" Jungkook asked, taking Sejeong seat.
"Not really, about fifteen minutes. So, did you and Heejin come together?" I saw the ravenette smile as his hand went to rest on top of my head, ruffling my hair while he stared at me and shook his head.
"No, silly. We arrived at the same time and were going to the same place"
At first, I couldn't move, I was very aware of the physical contact between us at that moment.
"Oh, makes sense" I ended up saying when he took off his hand.
I thought the others would join us on the couch, but Eunwoo and Bogum were in the kitchen finishing up dinner and the two girls were standing by the window that led to Eunwoo's kitchen, drinking from their glasses of wine and talking about fashion.
Jungkook and I talked and talked, when it was time to eat, I sat down next to him keeping the conversation going. In between jokes and laughing around, I noticed I wasn't sitting next to Bogum, I looked at him and was about to interact with him when Jungkook tapped on my shoulder, bringing me food. In the end, it wasn't until we were bidding each other goodbye, that I realized I had spent the entire night talking with Jungkook and barely with the others. I pushed for another dinner as soon as possible before getting in the car with Bogum and going back home.
It had been two weeks since Bogum had started filming for his movies, safe to say we never saw each other. Since his movie was a about zombies, he would often film at night and sleep until late in the day which meant I would come back just to see him running out the door and rushing to set and he would come back when I was already fast asleep.
"Okay everyone, break for lunch!" The director yelled.
I looked at Sejeong, she was sitting next to me on a public park bench. I loved it when we would film in outside locations and today the sun was shining accompanied by a small breeze which pushed her hair back. I always thought Sejeong had incredibly pretty eyes and the most genuine smile. She noticed my staring and chuckled nervously, showing that smile I adored.
"Lovebirds!" We both looked to see who had yelled and saw Jungkook walking over from the barriers that were made to keep the public away.
"How'd you manage to get in?" Sejeong asked with a smile as she greeted him.
