It was eight-twenty five and we were all waiting in line for the movie. We had done everything we had planned which wasn't a lot but with the right group of people, even sitting down in the park was a blast. I looked next to me and saw Jungkook was already looking at me.
"Why you staring?" I say and dip the front of his black cap, making him smile.
I had been a bit cold at the start of the day, after my fight with Bogum but my friends quickly took my mind off it. Jin who had this rich, classy boy aura yesterday had really surprised me today, he and Jungkook had turned out to make a very chaotic but hilarious duo, which was even funnier when you considered the age difference since Jin was three years older than the rest of us.
"Okay, so how are we for the popcorns?"
"I want sweet" Jimin said, Namjoon and Yoongi agreeing.
"I prefer salty, personally"
"I'm with Jin" Hoseok said.
"I'm half and half, it's the only correct way to eat popcorn"
"Damn right it is!" I agreed with Jungkook as we highfived, the sound echoing in the large hall we were in.
We each paid for our popcorns and went to sit down. I was in between Hoseok and Jungkook, who was at the end. I had always been someone who reacted a lot to movies and had to talk to express what I was feeling and Jungkook was someone who enjoyed watching movies in silence which always made it hard for us to watch movies together.
"Look! I think that the guy is abou to-" I couldn't finish my sentence when Jungkook stuffed my mouth with popcorn. I giggled and swallowed them, trying to keep my mouth shut from now on.
The movie ended as we all made our way out of the cinema and back inside the mall. It was starting to get late so we agreed to all go home and since the boys would be leaving tomorrow afternoon, we agreed to meet for lunch one last time tomorrow.
"I wanted to speak with Taehyung for a bit. Babe, I'll be back later, okay?" Yoongi said and pecked Jimin's lips.
"Honey, do you want to stay with them too?"
"No, that's okay. Let's go back to the hotel" Namjoon waved goodbye and took Jin by the hand, getting in the car with Jimin and Hoseok, Jungkook leaving as well.
Yoongi and I made our way towards my car but didn't go inside, I was curious as to why he had asked to stay with me alone.
"Tae, I love you man, but just what the hell do you think you're doing?"
I stayed quiet, not understanding what he meant.
"What's going on between you and Jungkook?"
"Nothing" I relaxed and allowed myself to smile, if that's what he was worried about then he was worried for no reason.
"Come on, man. You're always sitting next to each other, he was the only one who agreed to walk that trail with you at Han river, you helped him pick out a brand new suit and showered him with compliments, at lunch he ordered for you because he knew what you liked to eat at that restaurant, I mean come on. If I didn't know better, I'd say you two were still together"
This time I stayed quiet because I understood what he meant all too well.
"So let me ask you again. What are you doing?"
"I don't know...It's all so new-"
"No but see it isn't. Jungkook is not new. Taehyung, even we know you weren't over him when he left, so why would you let him back inside your life when you knew that?
