I woke up with an arm locked around my waist, Bogum had his face pushing against my arm and his legs tangled in mine. I found myself smiling and gently running my hand through his hair, waiting for him to wake up.
"Morning" I say when I see his eyes open.
"Hey there, beautiful"
"How are you feeling? How's your foot?" We looked down and saw our feet mixed together. "Pretty good" We both laughed and smiled, it was nice to feel this way again.
"What time did you get back last night?"
"Around midnight" I answered but quickly changed the subject. "Let's go get ready for breakfast, we said we'd all be there at nine"
We got up, washed up and left to the restaurant. Only Heejin was there when we entered the wooden space but the others arrived soon after. Jungkook greeted everyone but wasn't speaking a word, Eunwoo and Sejeong were standing on opposite sides of each other and weren't talking either. The only one who seemed totally fine was Heejin.
"Let's all sit down" She suggested.
Our breakfast was served and everyone sat in silence. I was racking my brain trying to come up with a topic but nothing came to mind. Heejin and I exchanged glances, she made big eyes and I shrugged.
"So I was out pretty fast last night, what did you all do?" Bogum asked but no one answered. "Taehyung?"
"Um, I was with Jungkook-"
"Until midnight?"
I froze when Bogum interrupted me, I didn't expect him to make such a comment.
"No, we parted ways around nine, I think" Jungkook stepped in.
"Oh, what did you do after?"
"I was with Sejeong and Eunwoo. We drank last night" I blurted out and looked at Sejeong.
"That's right! All three of us" She added.
"Yeah" Eunwoo nodded his head and tried an uneasy smile.
"When did you get back? I didn't even hear you come in" Heejin took an elegant sip out of her glass of water and looked at her roommate.
"Around midnight as well. I think. When did you go to bed?"
"Oh I was asleep at ten, I was so tired"
Sejeong let out a sigh of relief and confirmed she came back around midnight.
The entire breakfast was awkward. I could tell everyone felt uneasy, me included. Bogum and Heejin were the only ones that talked the entire time. I would chime in every now and then but the three others stayed quiet.
Right as we all got up to leave, I excused myself to the bathroom and was quickly joined by Jungkook.
"What are you doing here???"
Did the others know he was here too? What would they think?
"Does it bother Bogum that I'm here?"
"What? Why would you say that?"
"Didn't you see his reaction earlier when he thought we had spent all night together?" He scoffed.
"I know... I thought he was fine with us being in the same room but I guess he has his limits" I placed my hands behind my back in leaned back against the bathroom counter, looking at Jungkook. "So how come Sejeong woke up in her cabin next to Heejin? I thought she passed out in Eunwoo's?"
"I woke up early and went to wake her up"
"Oh" It astounded me how much of a kind person Jungkook had turned out to be. There had been so many times he had shown a very selfless side of him. "That was very nice of you"
