Waking up, Taehyung knew exactly where he was and what he needed to do, leave before Jungkook woke up. Getting up from the couch, he took his watch that was placed on the coffee table next to his cellphone and wallet, he put on his shoes and walked across the living room until he heard a voice coming from the kitchen.
"Oh, you're awake"
"Morning" He said, entering the kitchen where Jungkook was making coffee.
"Sorry if I left you on the couch but I was afraid to wake you up if I lifted you. So what do you remember from last night?" Jungkook handed him a cup of coffee, placing milk and sugar on the table in front of him.
"If you're asking if I remember sharing my hopes and dreams with you, I do"
Jungkook chuckled, a sassy Taehyung was always a good sign.
"Well about that-"
"Look, I had a talk with Yoongi last night which made me think about some things so I went to a bar and had too much to drink, that's it"
"And at what point did you want to come here?"
"I don't know, there was no reason"
"So you were drunk and you subconsciously came here to me?"
"No! I told the driver your address, it was purely intentional" The brunette immediately replied.
"Then why did you come here?"
"I have to go, I can't even begin to imagine how I'm going to explain this to Bogum..." Taehyung turned around and put on his coat.
"What are you going to tell him?" Jungkook walked behind him and leaned against the wall, near the door.
"That I came and got drunk here, fell asleep and left. I have to go, see you at lunch" Without waiting for a reply, Taehyung was already out the door and into a taxi, on his way home.
Having spent the entire ride home going over how he would go on about the conversation which made it weird when no one was home.
"Bogum!!" The brunette called out again and again until he found a note telling him he was spending the day with Eunwoo.
Taehyung didn't know how to feel about this whole thing, but part of him felt relieved to have delayed the hard moment he didn't want to face yet. Under the hot water of the shower, Taehyung went back over everything that had happened yesterday, he still didn't know what to do.
Deciding he didn't want to torture himself anymore, Taehyung put on some music and got dressed, cleaning the apartment and doing other things he needed to do until it was time to go meet his friends. At the restaurant, he made sure not to sit next to Jungkook and kept on joining in the conversation to make sure he never had a moment to think. Yoongi had approached him earlier but the younger had dismissed him immediately. Knowing his friends would be leaving soon made Taehyung feel incredibly anxious, they were his only source of distraction to keep him from having to face the situation he was in.
Lunch eventually ended as Yoongi and Taehyung found themselves in the bathroom to regroup. Taehyung told him about last night's events and Yoongi stressed the importance of Taehyung telling Jungkook how he felt and straightening things out with Bogum. The brunette promised to keep him apprised of what would happen before getting back to the group of friends.
"I'm really going to miss you, guys" Jungkook said, bringing both Jimin and Hoseok for a hug.
"You'll come back soon, right?"
"Well now that we've made sure that Tae hasn't become some actor scum and that you and him get along, we'll be back more often" Yoongi answered, making the others smile.
