A few days ago, Taehyung had gotten a call from his agent telling him that they would be delaying the start of his series due to one of the actors dropping out. As soon as he had told his boyfriend, Bogum had suggested the pair go on vacation somewhere in the country so that Taehyung could come back if needed.
"Come on, babe, it's a great idea!!"
"A group vacation?" Taehyung repeated, still not sold out on the idea.
"Eunwoo suggested it and I think it's an amazing idea! He was going to go somewhere with Jungkook for the weekend but now he's suggesting we join them and make it a big weekend! He wanted to invite Heejin too. We're such a fun group, I think it will be great"
"I don't know..."
"Please, honey" Bogum rushed to his boyfriend's side and gathered his hands in his.
Taehyung looked at him with pity in his eyes, he had been downplaying just how badly he didn't want to go so his boyfriend wouldn't be suspicious but a group vacation was the last thing he wanted to do.
"Why does it bother you so much?" Bogum sighed and let go of his hands.
"Because I want to spend time with you"
"Yeah but doesn't it get boring just us two? Wouldn't it be fun to be with other people for a while?"
Hearing his boyfriend's word hurt Taehyung deeply. He never felt that way, he could spend hours with just Bogum and on top of that he already felt as if the two didn't spend much time together so how could Bogum feel as though they needed to see other people for once?
"Sounds great" He ended up giving in, not wanting to start another fight.
Bogum jumped up and kissed his boyfriend wholeheartedly before rushing to his phone to call his friend and get started on planning the vacation.
Later during the day, Taehyung called Sejeong to talk about their series being delayed, it was at that moment that he thought of the perfect way to save this trip. He asked if she wanted to come with and as soon as the name Cha Eunwoo dropped, the girl was yelling and rambling on and on with enthusiasm.
For the next two days, Taehyung honed his acting skills as he pretended to be thrilled about the vacation. Bogum and Eunwoo had made reservations at a "resort" in the mountain and hadn't stopped talking about the hiking trails, the morning mist that would invade the gorgeous wooden cabins and the general rustic feel the resort had.
Taehyung had eventually gone to the website and the place did look incredible but he would have preferred to go there and enjoy the Swedish massages and romantic atmosphere in the two star restaurant with his boyfriend then a group of friends.
It was finally d-day and Bogum had been up since seven o'clock to make sure they weren't late. Jungkook, Eunwoo and Heejin would be driving up there together and Sejeong, who already had morning plans with a big record company, would be joining later in the day. The plan was to arrive around eleven a.m to have time to unpack and shower before all going to lunch and maybe tour the resort as well.
"Did you pack the mosquito spray???" Bogum yelled from the bedroom.
"Yes, I've told you ten times already" The other mumbled the last part and finished putting on his shoes. The living room was filled with bags they had packed yesterday.
"I can't wait to get there, it's going to be so awesome to spend a few days away from the city and away from everything. To have some change in our life!" Bogum kissed his boyfriend's cheek as he walked by him.
