Sideswipe's P.O.V.
This is odd watching Sunstreaker leave the cafeteria to give up. I'm unsure if it's a good sign Lily is watching, confused. She needs to be at the point where she wants to follow him. The others watch, wondering if she'll go after him. I'm worrying about how long it will take before he snaps.
I didn't think I'd take four hours to return to my room, seeing Sunstreaker drawing at his desk.
"What have you been doing for the past four hours?" Sunstreaker asks as I sit on my bed.
"Uh..."
"It's fine, Sideswipe. Just say you've been with Lily. As always, you're the one everybot, and human likes to be around you."
"But Lily—."
"Fragging is terrified of me!"
"Do you like her?"
"What? No—yes—maybe, I-I don't know! You can't tell anyone."
"Aw, don't be so serious—it's just a crush!"
"With a fleshie! And I'm supposed to be feared by everyone!"
I don't think it's only Lily who is confused. At least he's happy hearing Lily ate the cookie he got her.

I return to Lily's room, not expecting Crosshairs and Drift to wait for me since Lily is asleep.
"I do want to try to get the two to spend time together for a few hours each day until she goes to school," Drift explains, "I think she'll be ok. I've been able to get her to relax quickly."
"I still don't like this," Crosshairs comments, "add how many bots avoid Lily because she possibly still wants to befriend Sunstreaker. He'll never change."
"Perhaps not completely, but to care for even one human is a big step for him," Drift explains.
I'm not telling them that I suspect Sunstreaker is falling for Lily. I go to sleep, hoping she'll sleep all night.

I watch Lily get ready in the bathroom, seeing the confusion on her face. What are the nanobots having her think? What thoughts are her own? How nanobots influencing thoughts and dreams is helping either Lily or Sunstreaker. At least Lily didn't have a nightmare last night.

Lily's P.O.V.
I don't know what to think, and I'm tired of feeling this way. Time away from here will help even if I'm still returning after school. It's only Wednesday, and I'm not returning to school until next week. Wonder what Crosshairs and Drift have planned?
There's a knock on the door. I answer it, thinking it's Drift.
"I... uh wanted to keep the routine going, even if I'm late today," Sunstreaker explains, showing he got my usual breakfast but has two cups. He has the bag and cup holder in one hand. He reaches his other hand out, "can I stay here?"
Would he try anything with Sideswipe here?

Sunstreaker's P.O.V.
She's not ready for this. I can smell Lily's fear, and she's shaking a little as she takes my hand. I get her to sit on the couch quickly, worried she'll pass out. Crosshairs and Drift think she's ready for this, but it's a problem if she won't eat, even if she has yet to question if I poisoned her breakfast.
"Hey, where's my breakfast?!" Sideswipe asks.
"In the cafeteria," I reply.
Lily laughs at my reply.
"Fine, I'll leave you two alone. Enjoy your date."
Scrap, please tell me this is part of the plan. Lily watches Sideswipe leave. I'm hoping I don't need to attempt to use Drift's calming techniques. It's bad enough we're not at the point of having a conversation without my brother or Drift being with us, and I don't think Crosshairs would try to start a conversation.
I turn on the T.V., hoping Lily will relax and eat.

Before I knew it, an hour had passed. Breakfast is eaten, and Lily is leaning on me. She'll not stay relaxed if I put my arm around her.
It's interesting watching Sideswipe walk in as quietly as possible and takes a picture.
She's about to fall asleep. Sideswipe tells me. She wasn't up all night, either.
This situation is exhausting for her. Scrap, unless this is a bad sign.
"I have to go," I tell Lily.
She moves off me. One quick look at her, I don't see any signs she's getting sick. I still want to talk to Ratchet.

Ratchet isn't sure if Lily's exhaustion is nothing concerning or not. This is another reason I worry about Lily going back to school. I hope Ratchet will do a health exam later today. Even if it's mental exhaustion, this is concerning.

Lily's P.O.V.
"Are you ok?" Sideswipe asks, feeling my forehead.
"I don't know why I'm feeling tired. Knowing Ratchet, he'll do a health exam before I return to school."
"I'd rather he do it today."
On cue, I get a text from Ratchet. Telling me to come to the medbay at one. This makes Sideswipe happy, but he still worries something is wrong. I give in and take a nap.

"It's more fun with you," Sunstreaker smiles and takes my clothes off before carrying me into the shower.
He puts me down but pushes me under the running water.
"I love you," he smiles and kisses me. The kiss is quickly heated before he kisses my neck and moves slowly down my body, "and can't wait until I can frag the scrap out of you."
"You being patient?"
"Then I'd lose you."
The shower together is enjoyable as the cuddles after we get dressed.

"Lily? Are you ok?" Sideswipe asks, worried.
It was only a dream. I'm so tired of this. Even though I know this dream won't be a reality for six years if I fall for Sunstreaker. I ignore Sideswipe and lie back down, staring at the wall. Trying to cry quietly.

Sideswipe's P.O.V.
I'm not seeing how these nanobots are helping Lily or Sunstreaker, and I'm worried this confusion will lead to suicidal thoughts. I inform Ratchet, who tells me to inform Crosshairs and Drift.
Sideswipe? What's wrong? Sunstreaker asks.
Ah, scrap. He's worried.
I'm just worried about Lily being exhausted already. I lie.
This health exam better find something easy to treat.
