One day, the sand monk and eight quit went to soak in a hot spring. The sand monk decided to strip naked to show off his body tattoos to eight quit. He proudly declared, "I got these tattoos when I was in the river. There's a skull and nine texts in total."
Eight quit waved his hand dismissively and said, "Big deal. I also have tattoos." He then proceeded to take off his clothes and turned his back towards the sand monk.
The sand monk took a closer look and saw a seal tattooed on the back of the eight rings, with the words "test pass" written on it.
This story teaches us that we should not be too quick to judge or compare ourselves to others. Just because someone has something that we do not, it does not mean that they are better or more accomplished than us. In this case, the sand monk thought that his tattoos were impressive and unique, but eight quit's simple "test pass" tattoo held just as much significance and value to him. It is important to remember that everyone has their own journey and accomplishments, and we should celebrate and respect them for their individuality.
