Ada finished eating spicy food in the restaurant and was ready to leave. The waiter came over to settle the bill by counting the bamboo sticks.
The waiter looked at the table in amazement and asked, "You've been here for over two hours and you only ate one skewer?" Ada shrugged and smiled, but didn't say anything.
The waiter said helplessly, "Okay, your total is 80 cents."
Ada handed the waiter a dollar and said, "Keep the change!" She then walked out with the freshly woven bamboo basket.
