Late at night, I was awoken by a phone call from my wealthy sister. She said she was alone on the street, feeling cold and broke, and asked if she could crash at my place for the night.

I picked her up and asked, "Did your parents have a fight?"

As she shivered while drinking hot water, she replied, "No, I just feel like every day there's nothing to do, spending money I haven't earned, and my heart feels empty. I wanted to experience the feeling of poverty and homelessness."

When I finally learned the truth, tears streamed down my face.
