Things were never the same, back on Homeworld. Nobody was sure what to do at first. Many of the elite Gems suggested to scrap the Otons now that Black has apparently exiled himself, but White had chose to leave them be for the moment, as the Supreme had remained true to his word. In fact, it was he who organized the reconstruction efforts using Black's own resources.

For years, Bismuth work crews were seen around the palace and the city, and for ages there was nothing but noise. Their most difficult project was the complete rebuilding of a major spire, one of oldest structures aside from the Diamond Palace. They had to move several tons of debris, then they had to build layer after layer of concrete rings. After the base was completed, there was a grand statue to be built, that of White in particular.

Despite the complexity, there was only a single Bismuth working on the statue, one of great...significance in Black's Court. While others had purple skin with a rainbow of hair, this one had dark splotches on her body in small portions, and only had blue and green dreads.

"Uh, excuse me?"

Bismuth had not turned, but responded as she chiseled out one of the Diamond's feet.

Bismuth: Yeah?

???: Um, I'm sorry, but you've been summoned to the palace for an important meeting.

Bismuth: Says who?

At this moment the worker Gem had been sitting down, but she slowly rose to her feet and turned to the one issuing this order. The messenger was an Agate, one with black hair and ashen skin, without looking at her uniform Bismuth could tell she was of the same court, looks like a new one too.

Midnight Agate: I-Um.. Oh, I mean, it was Supreme who did it!

This "Midnight Agate" was tall, like all Quartz Gems, but the Bismuth type towered over her effortlessly. Her uniform resembled a long apron, with several pockets on both sides, and on her legs was custom crafted chainmail, something very unusual to wear outside of battle.

Bismuth: Ah, didn't realize before, sorry for the scare.

She broke her cold gaze and suddenly appeared to be a bit more docile, friendly even. This helped the Agate calm down, and she resumed their conversation.

Midnight Agate: It's ok, really! But yes, Supreme was very clear to assign you specifically for the task at hand, I don't want to alarm you though, but it was also mentioned...that the other Diamonds aren't made aware of this.

Bismuth: Oh.. I see, must be real serious.

(The Palace)

Supreme:..............Enter.

Bismuth stepped into view in the now pitch black chamber, the only source of light being the occasional sparks of the many tools, welding and affixing new parts onto the Oton. Right before her eyes, Bismuth was witnessing the Supreme being upgraded to the new casing, but his had silver skin instead of a full gray, and he now possessed three headlamps in a triangle pattern. His voice too, was different, it was much more, refined, not as monotone as the others now, it held a sense of authority to it.

Supreme: You are Bismuth F-53.

Bismuth: Yes, I am. Never thought I'd be summoned out the blue, hehe..

Supreme: There is a matter of grave importance, deep underground.

Bismuth: Huh? What are you talking about?
