(The Moon Base)
(Black)"I cannot believe this! It was only that one Rose Quartz and the other guy, now I have hundreds of disobedient Gems popping up left and right! This is an outrage!"
I punched the desk with full force, nearly destroying it.
(Yellow)"This is what happens when you give Gems a second chance. You should have shattered her then and there!"
(Blue)"He did not know what would happen, don't blame him for everything, Yellow!"
(Black)"No she's right. I tried to be reasonable, but look where mercy got me: full-on civil war! The second I get my hands on Rose, she'll be the main attraction at my zoo!"
The "Zoo" of Cluster and Corrupted Gems has now become a place where high ranking Gems can go and observe my handy work. Along with melting gem shards together, I had used the "Corrupting Light" on those who were deemed criminals. It was discovered that all Quartz Gems would always turn into a large beast when corrupted.
I once used used this power on a Nephrite, who then turned into a huge bug-like creature, capable of spewing acid, and creating weaker spawn without gemstones. It was all so fascinating, but this wasn't the time to think of research, there was a war to fight.
Colonies never required much to set up, just a hundred or so dropships, a few Injectors, and a small group of Gems was enough, and Black didn't have that big of a military, which is why he contacted his two sisters. He had already sent nearly every other Rose Quartz back to Homeworld to avoid any more uprisings, so the only army he had at the moment was Hessonite and her Light Prism, and a few hundred Quartz Gems.
(Yellow)"I'll send everything I can to Earth, but remember that these are MY Gems you're sacrificing."
(Black)"I understand, and I'll happily replace any that don't come back, I can assure you."
The two Diamonds cut off their transmissions, and the two screens reformed into their small communicator, then placed back onto the right arm rest of the chair.
(Black)"Now, let's check up on what's going on down there..."
I got up and went to the lower floor. In the middle of the room was a floating sphere which I could use to oversee the colonization of planets without leaving the base. I tapped the orb, and the room transformed into an open field.
There were Gems attacking eachother on all directions. It was easy to tell who was on which side, as the "Crystal Gems" had a five pointed Star on their body.
Hessonite was here, slicing through Gems with her summoned sword, and her Light Prism had taken form.
While mine plain out shattered them, the rebels simply bubbled and sent them some place.
(Black)"This is sickening, how could it get this bad in just a few years?"
I changed the room to a sandy canyon. The first Kindergarten was now unreachable, so we had one rushed in a bad location. The walls were too lumpy, and it's causing Gems to emerge deformed. There was a Jasper that came out lanky, and a Carnelian came out side ways, and was too short. The rebels were here too, at least 80, poofing Gems like it was easy.
(Black)"Damn! It'll take weeks until reinforcements arrive! What am I supposed to do n-?!"
The area began to shake, causing all the Gems to stop fighting.
(Black)"What was that?"
I looked at a wall, and it had large cracks forming in a humanoid shape. The shaking came back, and without warning, a huge Gem emerged with a battle cry unlike any I've heard in years.
(???)"RRRAGGGGGHH!!!"
She was a Jasper, but unlike the others, her gemstone was shaped like a nose, in the right place, too.
(Omega)"Clearly, the yellow diamond is black in this timeline."
Out of all Quartzes, this one came out fighting, taking out 3 Gems with her fist alone. She then summoned a crash helmet, and ran straight for another group behind me. Even though this was all a projection that couldn't hurt me, I felt the need to dodge. I was now able to get a good look at the hole she emerged from, and...
(Black)"Oh my stars...she is...beautiful."
Most would use the term "Perfect", but when I saw something that good, I could only use the word "Beautiful". I knew that I needed to talk to her, immediately. I ran to my ship as quickly as my own legs could move me, and made my way towards the planet.
When I got there, the conflict was already over. The new Jaspers was finally calmed down, and was being informed of the current situation by a Peridot. When they saw me, Jasper nervously saluted.
(Jasper)"U-Uh! Black Diamond, we...uh, took care of the rebel threat!"
(Black)"I saw it. I've been around for hundreds of years, but I never saw a Quartz THAT strong."
(Jasper)"Oh! Well, I didn't really know what I was doing, an-"
(Black)"There's no need to apologise, I'm actually impressed."
(Jasper)"Y-You are?"
(Black)"Of course. I mean, just look at the exit hole."
I went over to the hole, which was surprisingly emitting some heat.
(Black)"No Gem has ever emerged like this. There's glass all the way to the back. We set this place up yesterday, and no Gem has come out as perfect as you."
(Jasper)"Oh, uh...thank you..."
Despite her frightening stature, she looked so...I, like she wasn't standing in a pile of gem shards at the moment.
(Black)"Jasper, I normally don't do this, but from what I've seen here today, I'm going make you the leader of all Gem soldiers of the Black Division. You'll basically be in my inner circle of generals, the second highest position on Homeworld."
(Jasper)"Really? I...am honored to be a part of something so great! I won't fail you!"
(Black)"That's good./For your sake, you better not..."
