Years has passed, and something big happened. Rose had a child by a Human she fell in love with. Unfortunately, she had to give up her own form to allow the child to live. She made peace with this fact, and the first ever Gem-Human hybrid was born, Steven Quartz Universe.

He is practically made of positive emotions, and almost everyone in the town of Beach City knew him, and his Gem caretakers. One day, him and Amethyst went to a nearby french fry place, owned by a man who obviously takes pride in his line of work just by looking at him.

(Steven)"Hey, Fryman, give me the bits!"
The man of fries flipped his "OPEN" to "CLOSED".
(Fryman)"Steven, we’re closed."
(Steven)*Disappointed* "Aww, what?"
(Amethyst)*Hits counter* "Give 'em the bits! The bits, the bits..."
Steven, the impressionable child he is, decides to join in.
(Steven/Amethyst)"The BITS! The BITS! The BITS!"
(Fryman)"Okay, okay! Take it easy on the counter, will ya?"
He went to the back for a few minutes, and came out with a bag of...whatever Fry Bits are.
(Fryman)"I can give you actual fries if you want."
(Steven)"Just the bits, please."
He took the bag, and the two are them whilst watching the sun go down.
(Steven)"Ah, sunset, my favorite time of day. When the sun goes down, and the second sun gets bigger and bigger in the sky."
(Amethyst)*bursts out laughing* Yeah, that big hot second su-Oh no, what is that doing here?
(Steven)"What is it?"
She lifted the boy over her head, and ran for the beach, where the other Crystal Gems were observing the strange object in the sky through a telescope.
(Garnet)"This is bad."
(Bismuth)"I just knew they'd come back eventually!"
