Ok, so it's been a few years now, at least 30. My first colony has been long since completed, and I have 6 more in development. During this time, we've had several technological advancements.
First, the device I took, which I now know is a gun, we've created our own, but most Gems prefer melee weapons, since they can summon them so easily. So through ones who can't are given these guns.
Secondly, we invented a new way of travel, called a Galaxy Warp. They're basically blue stones placed anywhere around a Gem structure, so any Gem can be anywhere in a matter of seconds.
Thirdly, we've developed a better way of establishing Kindergartens via a control room underneath them to activate the Injectors all at once.

This one's more of a discovery of myself, I have unearthed some abilities. I discovered that I can alter my shape and face, I can levitate, put my energy into machines, or, I could put them into inanimate objects, bringing them to life.
As the opposite of that, I can also absorb energy, from any source...ANY source. And lastly, I can-
(Yellow)"Black."
I jumped so high from the sudden noise, that I landed on the ceiling. Yellow had stretched her head through the door, since she was too big for the hallway, which I thought was kinda funny.
(Black)"Oh, you startled me! What's wrong?"
(Yellow)"I need you to come with me.
(Black)"Oh, ok. Is it something important?"
(Yellow)"Yes."
She brought me to that dark building near White's ship. It was called the "Trial Building", where any Gem would have to convince us how they didn't commit a crime they were accused of.
(Black)"Uh, why are you talking me here? Why do you need me in a trial?"
(Yellow)"We're unable to come to a decision, so we need that special power of yours."
(Black)"Oh, that thing..."
We soon arrived in the Trial Building. Blue was there, and in the middle of the room, were two Topazes holding down a pair of Jades. Topazes are used as guards for essential locations,and Jades...don't really do anything. Why do we even have them?
(Yellow)"These two Jades have been caught fusing, supposedly, and we can't get a clear answer. But with you special ability, we'll put this case to rest."
(Black)"Ok."
I looked at my right hand, and I turned my finger tips into long cables of light.
(Black)"Well, Jades, this is going to hurt...for you......a lot."
