The clown Gem was looking through the telescope, towards a blue and gray ship, nothing like Homeworld design.
(Bismuth)"That can't be a Homeworld ship, it just can't!"
(Hematite)"And it's as big as a Diamond's ship this far away, it might be even bigger if it lands!"
Steven approached the Gems in a hurry, clearly surprised of the massive metal structure in the sky.
(Steven)"Hey guys, what's going on?"
(Garnet)"We've got company."
He looked through the scope for a better view, and was amazed at such a thing.

(Had a few upgrades since the "Harvesting" chapter.)
(Steven)"Whoa, is it from Homeworld?"
(Lapis)"It can't be, it's nothing like what they would build."
(Hematite)"But with guns that big, they aren't planning to give us a welcoming fruit basket. Speaking of which, the ship's within the Light Cannon's range."
Bismuth, knowing that Homeworld might come back, installed the trio of cannons under the house, along with the one from Greg's storage unit.

(Hematite)"Turns out they all have the same activation phrase, so you do the honors, bud."
He tossed the boy a walkie-talkie, which the second was connected to the cannons by some duct tape.
(Steven)"If every pork chop were perfect, we wouldn't have hot dogs!"
The weapons sprung to life, and fired a much bigger laser than the one before. But to their dismay, it seemingly disappeared when it was ten feet away.
(Garnet)"No effect."
(Hematite)"Must have a shield or something."
(Steven)"Well what do we do now?"
(Hematite)"Don't worry, I always had a back up plan in case this happened."
