Chapter 2
-Movie Night
"So, what movie should we watch?" It was late at night time and Max and I were picking a movie out.
"Let’s watch, umm, Where the Heart Is. I am in the mood for something lovey dovey." I said with a weird smile on my face.
"Okay, whatever"
Max popped the movie in and we both sat on the couch with a blanket on top of us. It was kind of chilly. Right when the movie was about to start my phone buzzed. I wonder who it was. I reached for it and opened it. It was my mom saying that she is going to come home in 2 weeks and also that she loves me. I replied with just saying "k" and "I love you too mom".
"My mom is going to come home in two weeks." I said to Max with a smile on my face. To be honest, I really miss my mommy. I mean I always do, but I never tell her.
"That’s good." he replied.

"This movie is so boring!" Max said.
"Well then go ahead and change it no one is stopping you."
"Yes, I can change it" and with that he got up and changed it
He changed it to some cheesy movie that I wasn't really in the mood for so I got up and went to bed.
"Hey where are you going?" Max said
"Bed, I am tired and I don't want to watch this movie." I said.
"Okay, goodnight."
"Goodnight" I was too tired to say anything else. Max usually sleeps in the guest bedroom or on the couch. I didn't care if he stayed or if he left I just wanted to get in my bed and sleep
