Chapter 3  

-My Ride to School

My phone woke me up with a buzz. I got a text form someone so early in the morning. Ugh. I checked my phone and it was from Max.

Max: hey I can't drop you off today, sorry.

That would mean I have to walk! Ugh I hate walking and he knows that! Why would he just leave me! I didn’t even reply cause I was to mad to say anything. Well maybe he had a good reason for leaving me? I guess he did. And with that I got out of bed and made sure I didn't wear anything ugly.

I quickly took a shower cause I don't know why but I like morning showers and then I got out my clothes. It was pretty chilly out today so I decide to wear a big jacket and leggings underneath, with boots on. While I was getting out my clothes I noticed I still had Max's jacket. I took a big sniff of his jacket and it smelt so good! I think for about two minutes I just sat there and sniffing his jacket. If I did this out in public I would have totally been put in a mental hospital. But I wasn't outside! So I could sniff this jacket as much as I want! But I had to stop soon. So I did.

So when I was all finished I put in a little makeup, only mascara. And I just let my hair down. I had like nice long brown hair it was like above my butt but lower than my elbow so yeah I had long hair. I thought my hair was the best feature out of all the other things on me.

I looked at the clock and it read 7:46!! This wasn’t enough time to walk all the way to school! Omg I started panicking and I started pacing the room. What the heck why I am pacing the room, if I want to get there at the last minute I need to leave NOW!

I locked my house up and started running to school! I ran as fast as I could. While I was running I felt like I forgot something. Oh well I just needed to focus on school right now.

I finally reached the parking lot at the school and there were still kids outside so I was safe. When I reached my locker I was all sweaty and I was out of breath. I have never ran that much in my whole entire life. I didn't have P.E. anymore so I literally didn't even run anymore. Ugh I was so mad at Max. Right when I slammed my locker shut I see Max's car when I was about to walk up to him and punch him in the face (I wouldn't really do that) I saw Samantha come out of the car. I stopped dead in my tracks. He was with Samantha? He ditched me for Samantha? Oh my god!! Now I was literally going to punch him in the face! I was so mad at him now! Even more mad than before!

I watched him say he will be right back to Samantha and then he started walking toward my direction. I started to walk away, I pretended I didn't see him at all. But he was fast at walking so eventually he reached me.

"Hey, sorry about not giving you a ride I had important stuff." Whoa, whoa whoa, wait did he just say he had important stuff? What, Samantha is more important than me? Oh now I was beyond mad!

"Hold up right there mister! Did you just say you had important stuff to do?!" I said really loud

"Yeah. Well kind of important stuff."

"Oh really?! What was so important, huh?! It was so important that you had to ditch me for Samantha, while I was running to school?" All he did was just stare at me with wide eyes. "That is right I saw you with Samantha, I saw you come out of the car with her!"

"Look Rosie I am really sorry but Samantha texted me saying she really needed a ride and I told her she had to wait cause I have to pick you up." He said

"What?! Okay I get that part but why would you leave me?" I am so confused and mad! And why would you ditch me for her?!" I said while waving my hands angrily in the air.

"I am really sorry bu-" he tried to say something but the bell cut him off.

I just left him because I was so mad to even talk to him or look at him right now! Why did he give Samantha a ride? And why did he ditch me for her? Ugh I am so mad right now and I felt like just crying. When I am mad I just feel like crying and I want to cry even more cause I just had a fight with my best friend.

While I was walking to class a tear slipped out of my eyes and I quickly wiped it away making sure no one saw it.
