-Paranormal Activity For Sure

~Rose Hearthaway's P.O.V.

We got to the movie theater and we went to go buy our tickets, and there was a lot of people that I knew but weren't really friends with. Most of them were Max's friends, wait did he bring other people?! No, this was suppose to be just me and him, what happened? Max greeted his friends and they all bought tickets.

"Hey Max why were you so late? We were like waiting for 15 minutes for you to come." Max's best friend Kyle asked.

"Sorry man, Rosie took forever to get ready." Max replied, now I feel embarrassed for taking forever. I don't really like to hang out with Max's friends they kind of scare me. I mean Kyle is cool but the others not really. Whatever just gonna have to live with it. I say whatever a lot don't I??

We got into the movie theater and bought food and then out of no where Sammantha shows up?! Like how? She goes and runs up to Max, being that he is hot and every girl wants to get with him, she is one of those girls.

"Oh my, Max what a surprise to see you here." she squeals. Ugh hopefully she is not here to watch the same movie.

"So what movie are you watching?" she asks Max.

"Paranormal Activity, you?" He replies.

"Same! oh my gosh, lets sit together." No please!! No I'm gonna have to be with her. I don't want to be with her. All I was asking for this night was to just be with Max and have a good movie night, but no I guess I got more then I payed for. Yay. so excited that I could throw a chair at her. Haha nah too mean.

We got into the movie theaters and everyone picked the back row to sit. I sat by the side cause if I needed to leave I would just leave without interrupting anyone, Max sat right next to me and then Sammantha sat on the other side, right next to him. No she is gonna steal my man in the scary parts. To admit I really like Max more than a friend, but obviously he probably doesn't feel the same way as me. I've seen the girls that he hooks up with and I am nothing compared to them.

The movie started and of course in the beginning it's just them introducing the story. Boring but interesting at the same time. When the night parts came I saw Sammantha hugging on Max's arm and I wanted to barf. I wish I could do that, but I can't. I checked my phone and I had a message from my mom so I texted her back.

"Rosie put your phone away." Max whispered.

"Shut up and pay attention to your babe over there." I whispered back and his face looked so puzzled but then a really scary part of the movie came and then she Samantha started crying. I wasn't paying attention to the movie so I have no clue what happened. But then what hit me was that I saw Max cuddling up with Sammantha. That is what hit me. I get it I shouldn't be mad or jealous but I am. Since I got really bored of the movie I just got out of my sit and left.

I went to the bathroom cause I felt some tears coming down and I let them out. They were just soft tears. After I stopped crying I went outside and found Max on his phone. I just starting walking the other way.

"Rosie! wait!" he said. Dang it he caught me I can never run away without him noticing me, it's probably because I'm fat. Haha.

"What? Why did you come out, you really wanted watch that movie."

"Because you came out of there for some unknown reason so I came to find you."

"Well you didn't have to do that cause I just came out here to get some fres-"

"Hold up, why are your eyes red?" he asked. He noticed! No!

"They are not red, I'm just tire-" I got interrupted again.

"Wait, were you crying?" he asked. He's got you this time Rosie, just smile and wave.

"It's nothing." and I just started to walk away. But then he grabbed my arm and turned me around. He looked me straight into the eye.

"Rosie what happened, that movie wasn't scary so something else might've happened."

"It's nothing." I said again with a very soft voice, he probably couldn't hear me.

"Rosie, seriously I'm getting worried."

"Max! Hey! What happened? You just left me in there." Samantha said while walking toward us.

"Oh sorry I have something important to take care of." He said to Samantha. I yanked my arm out of his grip.

"It's fine you guys go ahead and go back to the movie, I'm not really in the mood to watch it." I said and I left with that. I saw them both go back to the theater. Since I don't have a liscens, I technically can't leave so it was kind of a waste to leave the movie and I can't call my friends because I'm pretty sure they will be sleeping, I would be it's like 10:23.

I just sat in the little café drinking some hot chocolate. The movie ended and everyone came out. They all came to the café and sat with me. Almost everyone asked me why I left. I just told them that I got scared and didn't want to watch it anymore. They were all pretty nice to me. Which made me happy. Everyone was saying their goodbyes and the only ones left were Max, Sammantha, and me. Max politely asked Samantha to leave and she did, which was good. So it was just Max and I sitting there in silence.

"So what was really wrong?" he asked.

"Nothing I told you. Seriously nothing is wrong, I'm fine." I got out of my seat, threw my little cup of hot chocolate away and started walking to the car. Max started following me.

"Rosie I'm not starting the car until you tell me what happened, I know you, you don't cry for anything." He said. I just kept walking, "Rosie! Rosie!" he grabbed my arm, yet again.

"My problem is that you always hang out with Samantha."

"What's the big deal about that?"

"The big deal is that I get jealous when I see you with her, I'm going to admit right now that I like you. Max I've liked you for such a long time now. I've always wanted to be with you. And I understand if you don't like me cause who would. But anyways that is why I was crying earlier because I saw you with Samantha hugging and cuddling her like there is no tomorrow!" I said with tears spilling out of my eyes I was glad this little scene was outside. I can tell Max was speechless. I understand I mean I just admitted that I liked him and I'm pretty sure he gets that a lot and gets really annoyed with it, but I had to do what I had to do.

Max finally released my arm. Since this happened I just decided to walk home cause I wouldn't be able to handle the awkwardness that would be in the car. So I just started walking leaving Max over there with a puzzled expression on his face.

So I started walking, I know it's late out night like 11:12 but I mean the movie theater is not that far from my house. I was just praying that I didn't get kidnapped by some physo path. While I was walking I got bored so I played that game, if you step on a crack your mama's back will break. Yeah so I made sure I didn't step on any cracks. I remember when I was little I would avoid the cracks when I was walking home from elementary school. But one day I wanted to try the myth out so I did, I stepped on a crack. And with that I ran home worried that my mom's back broke but it was just a lie, she was fine.

My phone kept on buzzing, and guess who was calling me, Max. I'm actually kind of scared that I told him that I liked him cause honestly I don't know if he likes me back. Oh how I wonder...
