A Second Chance

Chapter 6

Hinata's POV

I fold my arms over my chest and sigh again. Bruce was sitting and looking at me walk around the jet and mumble something to myself. "They will be okay. Don't worry so much" he says but his tone wasn't so assuring. I sigh again and sit down beside him. We were currently in the jet while the others were in that ship to stop Ultron from taking vibranium. I run my fingers through my hair and frown when a sudden feeling of being scared takes over me. I wasn't feeling scared myself.... My eyes widen in realisation and I stand up quickly, scaring Bruce "Steve... He's feeling scared. Bruce should we go?". He gets up and there was some noise in one of the machines. He taps the machine saying "is this code green?".

I don't wait and open the door of the jet. Bruce walks behind me. Outside, everything seemed normal. I activate Byakugan and my eyes widen in horror "Bruce..... Things don't seem good. Tony and Ultron are out of the ship....... Those two twins are coming here!" Before Bruce could react, I step out of the jet pulling him along with me, sharply avoiding an attack from the boy. I hear him groan and say "she's here". "Bruce don't you dare turn into hulk." I say remembering what Steve said about it. "When Bruce turns into the hulk, he's not himself. He looses control over his mind and goes into destructive mode so while you're in the jet, avoid letting him turn into hulk" . He nods at me and grabs his gun.

Wanda walks towards us saying "brother, you take the girl and I'll take the man". I narrow my eyes at her but the boy was already on me. I barely avoided his attack and wasn't able to counter. My focus shifted from Bruce to the boy I was fighting. I take a deep breath and focus on his action. 'you can do this Hina, just like that day' I say to calm myself. He started with a series of attack which I was deflecting with Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms but my blocks seemed to have an effect on him and his movements slowed down a bit.

Suddenly I hear a loud roar and see hulk smash Wanda into a tree. I was going to smile but the look in his eyes wasn't so good. While I was busy staring at him run towards the city, the boy landed a bad kick on my stomach making me slam against a tree. I hiss in pain but my priority now was to stop Bruce. I peel myself off the tree and activate gentle step twin lions fist. The guy stares at me and charges at me again. I deflect his attacks again and seeing an opening, I push myself into the air and land a hard punch on his face. He was sent flying into the trees.

After confirming they were both knocked out I hurry into the jet and contact Tony "Tony! Bruce... He turned into hulk! And he's now into the city" I hear him groan and say "I'll be there quickly Hinata. Just make sure that he doesn't harm anyone." I nod and make my way towards the city, jumping through the trees.

My eyes widen when I see Hulk smashing down a car and roaring. " Don't hesitate to harm me if I were to loose control.... Please " I recall his words and activate Twin lions fist again. Jumping off the roofs of cars I jump onto his back and hit his head. He groans and throws me against a wall. I groan in pain and look at the officers "please get the citizens out of here first!". They hesitate but divert their attention from the hulk to the citizens.

I look around and luckily there wasn't any dead body. Looking at hulk again, I concentrate more chakra into my fist and charge at him, this time landing a hit on his stomach which did make him stumble back and fall on a car. I feel my vision blur for a second, making me shake my head and focus onto the green Baner in front of me. He looks at me then behind me at the citizens who were running for their life. He gets up picking up a car and throws it, but instead of me, at the citizens. "No no no..." My eyes widen and I step back, making an attempt to push away car with Vaccum Palm and I was successful but the car landed on one lady. I let out a scream seeing her get sandwiched between two cars. I look back at the hulk with disbelief in my eyes. I was hesitant to go help the lady thinking he would attack the others while I was at it. A sense of relief washes over me as I see a huge robot land next to me and I hear Tony "go help the citizens. I'll take it from here".

I nod and rush towards the lady, pushing away the car and then picking up her unconscious form. I sprint into an alley, away from those two fighting friends and start healing her sever injury. I feel my vision get blurry again and touch the back of my head to feel a liquid flowing down. I groan and only heal her sever wound, not wanting to go unconscious here. Once I was done, I pick her up again and hand her over to an officer. I ask him if anyone was severely injured aand he leads me towards a few people. I try my best to heal them enough to keep them alive, then they were sent to an hospital.

People thank me and I give them a smile "I'm extremely sorry for whatever has happened right now. The Hulk doesn't really mean to hurt you all, his mind was manipulated" I explain and some of them seemed to relax and understand but some held rage in their eyes towards the Hulk. Not knowing what else to say, I limp out of the area and slum down against a wall. The back of my head was bleeding, my back hurt as if I had broken bones. The memory of being slammed into the wall made me cringe. Having no more energy left to get up, I look around to see the amount of destruction hulk had done before my eyes closed and darkness engulfed me.
