Ruined morning, part two.

GREER OPENED HER EYES annoyed by the sounds of someone coming down the stairs and she sat up — half asleep — on the couch.

"Good morning," Lockwood's voice.

"Morning." Greer greeted sleepily "Great sleep?" He asked, she wanted to rip his head off "Not until you woke me up." She groaned and closed her eyes.

"No. I didn't," he denied "I heard you come down the stairs." She was a very light sleeper, heard a little sound, she would sit up quickly faster than an angry ghost.

"You've been sleeping late, aren't you?" It was too obvious, he knew her better than she knew herself "Well, I kinda." Greer chuckles, eyes still closed.

"You've been reading this?" Lockwood asked as he lifted the book from the table, Greer opened her eyes as soon as she heard him say "Hey, don't touch that." She snatched her favorite book from Lockwood's hand and put it back where he got it as if she owned it "You fully conquered the library." He said it like it wasn't obvious that Greer owned the library.

"Is there any breakfast yet?" Greer asked immediately after she just her stomach grumble "George's still asleep so there's no breakfast yet." Lockwood answered, it's five am in the morning going to six and George won't get out of his bed until seven am or sometimes late or earlier, they can't tell. "So you choose to stay here than cook some?" Greer scoffed.

"Yeah, you want me to cook now?" Lockwood asked, "No, I got it." Greer said as she stood up — still half asleep — from the couch. "You're bad at cooking." She doesn't know if that's an insult or if Lockwood's just telling the truth.

"That was a very mean thing to say." Greer said after a pause "Sorry, my bad." He stayed alert just in case Greer threw an object at him, he knows Greer is quick, and showing up on clients with a red spot on your forehead seems very embarrassing.

"I'm just kidding." Lockwood chuckled as he let himself sink back into the couch when he saw she's calmed.

"Whatever." She turned her back on him, bare feet, and tried to ignore the feeling of the cold stone beneath her "Breakfast will be ready in a few hours." Greer told Lockwood as she got out of the library "Don't burn the kitchen."

"Wouldn't try to," Greer replied.

Everything's fine, she didn't burn the Kitchen though she almost did. Luckily, there is Lockwood again, saving the day or more likely saving her and his house from the danger Greer caused.

Well, she couldn't help but to go to the garden, she couldn't stand to see the flowers being unhealthy so she decided to leave the stove open and didn't realize it's been 30 minutes since she left the kitchen.

Lockwood must have smelled it too because he stormed toward the kitchen and saw Greer trying to put out the fire.

"I told you not to burn down the kitchen." Lockwood said, wiping off the sweat of his charismatic face "I didn't try to." Greer responds, never sounding so guilty in her entire life "You almost did." Lockwood said she tried not to roll her eyes at the boy because she knew she was the one at fault but she couldn't help it "But, the food is already cooked, don't you think it's time to eat breakfast?" Greer asked

"It's burned," Lockwood told her "Come on, it's just two pieces of egg. I already cooked plenty."

A few minutes later, after they had solved the problem that like a hurricane Greer had done to the kitchen, George came downstairs, with papers in his hands, and was even surprised that there was already breakfast.
